McDonald's — Restaurant in Vermilion

Had to make 2 trip into the restaurant to get my pickup order corrected. 2 sweet teas ordered. Ended up with one sweet and one unsweetened. Pulled out of pick up space leaving the McD parking lot. Opened my Dailey double sandwich checking to make sure there wasn't any cheese as ordered. Check. No cheese but wait NO tomatoes. WHATTTTTT.. Go back inside again with a burger that is missing the tomato. All's well, sandwich is remade. Just disappointed that orders can't be made/filled correctly. This is a prime example why I always try to check my order before leaving the restaurant. Each staff member that helped with each issue was courteous in correcting the errors. Just can't figure how one line order for 2 sweet teas gets me 1 sweet and 1 unsweet...and whoever made the DAILEY double probably though oh. It's a double no tomato, but they had the lettuce and shivered onions which don't come on the double unless...

Just did a mobile order for curbside pickup. The employee eventually brings out half of my order and says the shake I ordered is unavailable. Okay, it's McDonald's so I wasn't too shocked, but I asked how I go about getting it refunded from my bill, and asked if I needed to come inside, and he said he didn't know and had to check with a manager. Wouldn't you check about that before telling a customer that what they've ordered is not available? And I see that my daughter's happy meal has not been received, so I go inside and let him know, and he stares at me. The young lady at the counter asks what I needed and I told her what I was missing, and she asks what sauce, I tell her bbq. Mistakes happen, and it was inconvenient to have to go inside to receive my completed order, but at least eventually they got it. But then we get home, and no bbq sauce for my daughter or my chicken nugget meal. Super...

Playland is great for children around ages 1-6. If you can afford Happy meal it's a great place to let kids burn energy and practice autonomy. Plus it gives you time to catch up on emails or phone stuff. You can fit in Playland in an emergency, but other kids have always been willing to help guide and support in a difficult situation. My suggestion that I learned from soccer mom is to give a 5 min. warning/heads up and then a 1 minute. Works every time!! Try it. I get the Mcchickin and small fry for $2.50. then when kids only eat a bit and go play I warn them if they don't finish their food, it's up for grabs. 9/10 they go play and I scavenge a bit more. Service and staff has always been amazing there?! Must be good...
