When I order a stack of pancakes with vanilla cream with blueberries on each that WAS EACH PANCAKE and it even says it on the receipt toppings on each pancake I EXPECT TO GET THE VANILLA CRÈME AND BLUESTUFF ON EACH PANCAKE!! Not 5 to 8 blueberries in my pancake and cream on the side!!! I almost blamed the sundering service because the chick that rang me up said that it didn’t come through like that but it plainly states it on my receipt toppings on each pancake!! So the chick lied to me when she said it didn’t come through like that because the receipt plainly says it!! The middle of my pancakes were doughy!! And both my orders of pancakes came in one container, since when is Dennys to cheap to put the separate orders in their own containers? On my receipt it’s rang up as two different orders so ur cooks need to start reading the ticket orders right and preparing them to how they r ordered!! One unsatisfied customer here! I wouldn’t have left a good tip had I known the two orders came in one container and my order was not made to how I ordered it!!! I wouldn’t of left a tip at all just knowing my stuff wasn’t even cooked throughly or not even cared to make my order right!!! If I was in slc my order would of came right and they have ten times the customers lil small vernal has and they couldn’t no didn’t care to read the right and make it to order!! When someone pays for something they expect to get their food how they ordered it!!! I do anyways!! Seriously how hard is it to get two stacks of pancakes right?? I’ve worked in the restaurant business for years so I personally know if the cooks read the tickets right they can and do make the orders right!! Seriously!!! And then have to wait a good five to ten mins to even be acknowledged and have four employees walk past u and act like they didn’t see u!! That’s pretty bad!!! U guys really need to have some customer service trainings after all it our tips u live off of so why wouldn’t u want to be good customer...
Read moreThe customer service here is always lacking on the late night shift. Staff members are usually out smoking right by the door and you have to walk through them to get in. Then they finish up before they come to greet you. Food quality is usually good, and the only reason I come back. That and not having any other late night options. But don't walk out without checking your order thoroughly. They'll forget Tarter Sauce with your Fish and Chips, or Marinara, or something simple that makes the dish. If you don't have any at home when you realize, your SOL.
One time I called in an order from [apparently] an outdated to-go menu. I didn't know it was outdated, in fact it was only a couple months old, but turns out the item I wanted wasn't even on their current menu. That would've been fine if they told me it wasn't, so I could pick something else. But the person taking the order on the phone didn't say anything. I got there, checked my order, and everything looked fine. When I got out to the truck, I looked closer and the Meat Lovers Omelet I ordered was covered mushrooms and other veggies. I took it back and they said "Oh I'm sorry we don't sell that Omelet any more, so I just picked what looked the closest to it." I was speechless and in disbelief that this person just chose "something close" for me.
This was about the 5th bad experience with this Denny's on the late night shift. I went appx once a month over the summer but not anymore. I wouldn't recommend this...
Read moreDuring our short trip to Vernal, Utah, we stopped by this Denny’s location on July 3rd, 2025 around 4 PM, and had a great experience!
Our server, Jessica C, was absolutely amazing—especially considering she was the only one working the floor at the time. She handled all the tables (including ours, a group of 7!) with kindness, patience, and professionalism. She really went above and beyond, and it didn’t go unnoticed.
And of course—what’s not to love? It’s Denny’s! The food was exactly what we were craving, and everything we ordered was delicious. We’d definitely come back to this location the next time we’re in the area.
The only issue we noticed was that the men’s restroom was closed the entire time we were dining. My husband had to ask about it before they opened it, which was a bit inconvenient—but not a dealbreaker.
