Amazing service... very attentive. Kids loved cheeseburgers. Served with pickles, lettuce and tomatoes to the side for picky eaters.
Stuffed French toast was good. Fyi, "berries" are either blueberry or strawberry sauces, not fresh berries.
Do not recommend country fried steak. So greasy as if soaked in the oil far too long as they over fried it! Thick coating with very little meat. Steamed broccoli great, mashed potatoes scoop was ok (some bigger chuncks of potato than I'm used to, but cooked through at least.) White bread barely tasted like garlic, but it's as pictured in the menu so no surprise.
There is a smaller seniors menu for 55+.
Side salad had iceberg lettuce, 3 cucumber slices, a couple cherry tomatoes, and 4 croutons.
Main salad bar available for $10 (or $5 with meal purchase). Mostly iceberg lettuce, though they had a little spinach, seeds, beats, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a few other things. 2 soup choices. Taco bar with...
Read moreIt seems like we got a cook on their first day, I don’t know otherwise how this place has a 4.1 on Google. We really wanted to like this place, we love eating breakfast at these kind of places, but almost the entirety of our meal was undercooked. The bacon looked like it barely just came out of the package, like it was heated on the grill for a minute, it didn’t seem like it was ready to be consumed quite yet. I had over easy eggs, but they were not quite over easy, there was still clear, mucus like egg, which should have been cooked more. We did ask for the bacon and eggs to be cooked more and they did so, but the second set of eggs were only slightly better, they were still very runny. The coffee was watered down and weak and my husbands pancakes were doughy and undercooked.
As for pros, their sourdough toast was really good and the staff and our waitress were all very nice and pleasant. Just a big disappointment...
Read moreWe are traveling thru and this looked like a good restaurant. We were hoping for a mom and pop style place with good cooking. I ordered the chicken fried chicken. I may as well have gone to the grocery and got a hungry man frozen dinner, which was exactly the texture of their food.
Everything about this place said the owners have no interest in providing quality. The chicken was obviously a frozen breaded small piece of chicken with green beans fresh from the can and barely warm. No flavor at all. Instant potatoes formed in a nice ball with some sort of stuffing. Waitress not paying attention, forgetting things. I had to remind her about my salad after she brought my frozen dinner plate. The wife had pork chops which were tough and tasteless.
If you go here, go with some sort of sandwich where you know it's not just a frozen meal warmed up. You may have...
