Last night, I didn’t just eat at Bloom Chicken—I witnessed the birth of a new gospel, scribbled not on parchment, but on crispy golden drumsticks seasoned with the fire of Korea itself.

Forget the marble halls of fine dining; Bloom is a hole in the wall with no air conditioning, a place where sweat and seasoning mingle in equal measure. You don’t come here for chandeliers. You come here to be baptized in flavor.

The Korean-style drumsticks arrived like warriors from an ancient dynasty, their skin lacquered with spice and crisped to perfection. Each bite cracked like divine thunder, followed by the slow burn of flavor that could make even the gods of Olympus loosen their belts. I closed my eyes, and in that moment, I saw God.

Then came the truffle fries—golden batons kissed by the earth’s most decadent fungi. Each fry was a philosopher, whispering truths dipped in decadence, proving once and for all that potatoes were mankind’s greatest invention. The cold slaw? A refreshing hymn, a cool breeze in a temple with no air conditioning, the unsung hero that kept me from combusting under the sheer glory of those drumsticks.

The seating? Semi outside, a motley crew of chairs and tables that felt less like furniture and more like pews in a sacred chapel of chicken transcendentance. And the staff? Humble acolytes delivering not just food, but revelation.

I have dined where menus are bound like novels and forks gleam like treasure, but Bloom Chicken proves that salvation doesn’t need silverware. It needs only a fryer, a spice blend forged in the heavens, and fries so divine that people will write songs about them.

Bloom Chicken has truly become my go-to neighborhood gem for both small workshops and larger events, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! My recent experience using them for Pantone's monthly staff luncheon (with 55 attendees) absolutely solidified my loyalty. This was my second time ordering, and—just like before—everything was top-notch.

From the moment they arrived, the Bloom Chicken team impressed with their attention to detail. They expertly set up and clearly labeled each entree, making it easy for everyone to find their favorites. The variety was fantastic: we ordered full trays of crispy, soy garlic, and KBBQ wings; a fantastic range of boneless trays including soy, sweet spicy, KBBQ, and citrus honey flavors; and crowd-pleasing chicken mayo and spicy chicken rice bowls. The bulgogi and pork dumpling trays were a hit, and the kale salads—even among non-salad lovers—disappeared quickly. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.

Let’s not forget the sides: truffle fries, French fries, and the signature kimchi fried rice were the ideal savory complement to the main dishes. But the stars of the show might just have been Bloom Chicken’s fresh donuts—they were mouthwatering and gone in minutes, a sweet finish everyone raved about. The staff appreciated the seamless experience, as every last detail from setup to packaging made serving a large group hassle-free.

The samplers was fantastic, we tried none with hot sauce, all the the other sauce were sweet, yet very tasty. Crispy fries, my wife had the spicy monster chicken sandwich, and she said it was amazing. The employees were knowledgeable, they said all the chicken is halal, no halal sign, but the employee said it was. I would ask the owners to advertise it.
