I have been a patient of Dr. Cheeti for many years. She is thorough, caring, and always looking to rule out any possibilities before prescribing or making any changes to your treatment. That being said it is unfortunate that the business side of this practice, the office manager and their billing team chose to present me with a bill from 2016 upon my recent visit. This was the FIRST time I was told I had a balance on my account. I had been to the office for numerous visits between that date of service in 2016 and my visit on Friday February 8th 2019; yet not once was I told I had a balance due from 2016. I had been told I owed copay for my visits at the time of the visit but no one had ever discussed a balance nor given me a statement. Yet when I arrived on Friday February 8th 2019 the receptionist gave me a copy of a bill for a deductable due from a 2016 visit. I asked what this was for and why it's dated 2016 thinking it was a mistake and she replied "no they have been sending these out this week, you have to call the billing people". When I asked to speak to the Office Manager she came out challenging me and was very rude condenscending.; I am a patient thus a customer. She said they provided a service and I owed them the money. I said if that is the case then I will no longer be a patient here and left. I called and left a message with the billing company which is a 3rd party. They called me back later Friday evening and besides not being able to understand their speech or fragmented sentences , They were unable to tell me anything other than demand payment. No proof of sending out a statement or copy of the bill. Nothing other than they claim they sent out a statement and they don't call or communicate billing with the office. If I wanted detail about the visit they are billing me for I have to call the office. The person I spoke with, whose name was Albert refused to give me the name of the company he worked for. When I hung up I called the number back and got the name. All in all it's a shame because I was comfortable and had alot of respect for Dr. Cheeti and her manner of treatment and knowledge. The business office, Office manager and billing company,; Integrity Medical Systems (doesn't seem like Integrity is the correct name since you clearly fell short of it) lost Summit Medical a patient because of their greed and inability to recognise and take ownership of clearly a billing oversight on their end.
