I have just experienced pizza nirvana, and it's called Famous Ray's Pizza! Seriously, I'm writing this with a cheesy grin plastered across my face and a happy, full belly. From the moment I walked in, the aroma alone was enough to make my eyes water (in a good way!).

The staff? Absolute legends! So friendly, so passionate about their pizza, you could tell they genuinely cared. I ordered the Buffalo chicken and cheese slices, and let me tell you, it was a masterpiece.

The crust? Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The sauce? Oh, the sauce! It was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with love. And the toppings!

Fresh, generous, and bursting with flavor. Every single bite was an explosion of deliciousness. I'm talking "stop-talking-to-your-friends-because-you're-too-busy-savoring-every-morsel" good. I've had a lot of pizza in my life, but this?

This is on a whole other level. It's the kind of pizza that makes you want to write a love poem. It's the kind of pizza that restores your faith in humanity. It's the kind of pizza that I'm already planning my next visit for! If you're looking for a LEGEND pizza in town, heck, in the UNIVERSE, look no further than Famous Ray's.

You won't regret it! Five stars? I'd give them...

Usually I really like the pizza from here but I haven't had it in awhile. Maybe not since a year ago. I grew up going here with my mom. Usually I like the pizza even when I've ordered it in the past but today it came really messy. It probably needed a few minutes to sit and cool before being in the delivery car. The cheese was such a mess. There was still a pool of oil on top, (so much oil that it was dripping everywhere and out of the box) and all of the pepperoni was in one spot. Maybe from the dashers car, so I won't put all the blame on the restaurant. But the pizza wasn't really cut and since I don't have a pizza cutter I had to struggle to cut each slice all while the cheese was sliding everywhere. It was a huge mess and it didn't even taste very good honestly. The slices are huge yea but they lacked flavor and tasted bland. I regret getting the pepperoni. Didn't seem like the pizza was made with the pepperoni, maybe the pepperoni was thrown on too late....

I got kicked out because I asked the manager for my money back. He was rude and told me the meatballs were just made, but then I asked him how long ago he finally told me a few days ago. After giving me my money back he asked me to leave because he thought I was being disrespectful by Speaking about the quality of the food.

I came in today after about a year this incident happened to get a barbecue Slice and the guy goes. Do you remember me? I told him no, and I started to order a barbecue Slice he told the Spanish guy not to give me the pizza and then he asked me do I remember what I said the last time I was here. I then remembered him .. it was the rude guy with the meatballs and he’s not even Italian. He’s rude and he lied about the quality of the food and then kicked me out again today so I felt the need to let Ray and everybody else know what kind of people they have running this “famous”...

The other day I got, Famous Ray’s Pizza Of New York, for lunch. I ordered their Italian Sausage, Buffalo Chicken, & Pepperoni Slices. I absolutely loved their Pepperoni Slice! It had great flavor and the sauce and cheese meshed really well. The other two slices were pretty middle of the pack though. Did not like the Buffalo Chicken Slice at all and was not too fond of the Italian Sausage slice. Both were really doughy and barely had any flavor. All of the crusts in general were doughy and chewy tbh. The person who took my order was extremely professional and had excellent customer service. I couldn’t highly recommend this place, but if you’re looking for some decent tasting pizza, and you are in the Verona area, feel free to check this place out.

The plain slice was delicious! We would definitely get that again. The one with toppings was undercooked and doughy. (Although better once we got home and cooked it a bit more, it still isn't something we would not get again.) The interior of the restaurant had a very very strong odor of gas, which was off-putting. The bathroom is not accessible and extremely tiny and hard to get to, although the toilet and sink were very clean. The handicapped parking spot is on a hill, so keep that in mind if you require flatter surfaces. Overall, it's not the nicest atmosphere, but the plain slice was top notch and we would certainly stop there again just for that - to go.
