Paddy Mac's Neighborhood Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Verona

I was in town with a few of my coworkers for a work conference, and we ate dinner at this restaurant on two separate evenings.

Unfortunately, our place of employment required us to have separate checks (for invoicing and reimbursement purposes). Our server, "Jen S" seem to be displeased with this request (as gratuity should be automatically added to large groups that dine together), which seemed to impact our service for our meals on both evenings.

The first evening, despite our best efforts to be pleasant and cordial patrons; she seemed annoyed at providing service to us, and acted annoyed at any additional requests (i.e. drink refills).

Again, we were seated in Jen's section on our second night, and we received similar treatment to our our experience on the first night.

To top it all off, one of our party members was chased out the door by Jen and accuse of not paying for his meal. He was forced to come back into the restaurant and pay for his meal again (after a heated argument with the server and the manager), despite having a copy of his receipt that verified his payment (because the staff couldn't find their own copy of the receipt).

Overall, our experience was disappointing. The food was standard bar food, but the service left A LOT...

Edit: From that response that the manager posted, I think I will change my review from two star to one. I have never met a more passive aggressive restaurant owner. We would never come back even if she offered a gift card. The portions were super small and just not worth what they're charging. This place is bad news all around. I did not expect to be lectured by the manager. I received ice cold toppings on my nachos. I wasn't going to say anything. But the manager could tell I wasn't really happy when I said everything was ok.

She offered to remake my order for me when I spoke up and said my food was cold, soggy and straight from the fridge. They remade it. But upon returning to my table I got an unnecessary lecture. Apparently vegetables have water and I'm supposed to just get over that. Pardon?

All I wanted was warm food. I got, cold as ice food. Both times.

Stay far away from this place. I literally could have gotten better food at Taco Bell. At least it would be warm. Aye aye aye... You can tell how cold it was because the cheese isn't even...

Unforgettable Experience at Paddy Mac’s Neighborhood Pub & Grill! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere at Paddy Mac’s was warm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. The service? Even the sides were memorable (seriously, try the fries — they’re addictive)! It’s rare to find a place where the service and food are equally outstanding, but Paddy Mac’s nails it.
