Looking down at what was advertised as a "SuperSonic Bacon Double Cheeseburger", I can only guess that the cook is suicidal and doesn't have the ability to care about serving the public, public relations, quality, company image/reputation; or they were poorly trained by someone who is. The single thin slice of mushy tomato lying exhausted on top of a single crumbled, nearly blackened and expired bacon had me seriously considering my own sanity in letting Versailles, Missouri Sonic Drive-in Restaurant ever have a dime of my hard earned money. I don't normally complain a lot because I am really easy to please and always try to overlook minor mistakes and see the good in everything. But our experience with Sonic Drive‐in was a disaster 😕 we ordered chicken sandwiches, jalapeño poppers and onion rings. The poppers and onion rings were completely inedible and we put them in the trash. The chicken sandwiches were so dry that I nearly choked on it. Only reason the sandwiches didn't go into the trash is because we were really hungry and just try to drink a lot to help it down. The chicken tasted old too. Other than that the service was great! Stopped tonight while passing through your town. Ordered 2 ft. Longs w/mayo and onion, plus a 44 Dr. Pepper. We are an hour away, so we just sat the bag in the back, and drive home. Upon arrival we discovered our coneys had heavy mustard instead of mayo. No receipt, so I looked up the number and called. Told them of our discovery and they offered to send us some coupons.
