Taco Bell — Restaurant in Versailles

Taco bell taco bell if I could give u negative 5 I would. So I visited this location today at 825pm. I pulled in the parking lot with no cars in line and one at the drive thru window. I was greeted 10min after I sat at the speaker. I order one ch quesidilla, one double decker and 2 soft tacos. After placing my order the lady gets on the speaker and tell me they are out of meat!? I ask how does that happen she says they were packed for 4 hrs straight and ran out of meat. Mind u this is versailles mo they don't get busy and I highly doubt they know what a rush is every time I have drove by its always dead. Anyways she says it will take 10min for the meat to cook. So mean to tell me u guys with four people in the store two who looked high no one could step off the line and drop a bag of already cooked meat in the water so it could reheat in four hrs...make that make sense. So I tell the lady I will just take the quesidilla. I then wait behind the car who was there before I even got there for another 12min I finally get to the window. The girl looks irriated and takes a deep breath before opening the window, I tell her since I've waited over 10min ima assume the meat is ready she says yes I order my original food it takes another 14min before I get my food. While I sit there all the employees who should be by this time finding a way to cook this meat stand and stare at me threw the window laughing and making little smart remarks. Taco bell you got to do better I know u don't got alot of good help around her but my 2yr old could run this store better then you guys are doing. Terrible customer service would not reccomend to a raccoon. And tell your employees instead of getting high do your job bc it's clear u can't...

My wife went in and discovered that orders had to be entered electronically. For the younger crowd, this is probably to their liking. For a septuagenarian-not so much.

When she returned to the car, we made the decision to go ahead and go through the drive-thru. We placed the order and when we arrived home, we discovered that the two cinnamon twists that we were charged for, were not in the sack. I promptly called and told the gentleman that answered the phone my dilemma. He apologized and told me that he would gladly give them to me if I wanted to to drive back and pick them up. I told him to refund my money. He told me that it would be refunded by corporate since we had paid with plastic, and it would take 14 days for them to issue the refund. I gave him the information he asked for,

Yesterday was day 14, and guess what? No refund!

So, I called back and talked with a gentleman and he told me that he had no way to check on the refund, and I would have to give him the information again. Nope, I don’t have to do any such thing!

I am not overly fond of Taco Bell, and this experience did not improve my feelings.

Less than two blocks away is an authentic Mexican restaurant, Veracruz, where you can go inside and enjoy real Mexican cuisine. The service and quality of food is hard to beat, at a price not much different than the Tex-Mex variety served at Taco Bell.

So, Taco Bell, keep my refund, and I will never darken the doors of one of your...

1:00 on Friday. Only 3 customers and at least 4 workers behind the counter. Nobody greeted me at the counter. Used the touch screen. Paid for extra cheese..that was a joke. Barely any extra. Wanted to pay in cash. Hit the "pay in cash" key. Still nobody came to the s Counter. They were all laughing and joking behind the counter. Waited for a few at counter so i could pay in cash. There was a worker joking w a man in the lobby. She looked at me several times. Still no acknowledgment of me standing there waiting to pay w cash. Finally a man came up and asked did u pay? Um, not yet want to pay in cash. That'd why I was standing here. The girl behind said "You should have yelled at us" um, NO, the place wasn't busy. Then 2 of my 3 hard tacos were broken! Very disappointing. I must be spoiled w the one in Osage Beach. They are fast, friendly and are prompt to greeting you at the counter. And you actually get extra cheese when you pay for it. Getting $20.00 an hour you need to do more than joke w coworkers and pay attention to your walk...
