Newk's Eatery — Restaurant in Vicksburg

This is hands down the worst Newk’s I’ve ever been to. I ordered the same sandwich as my friend, but somehow waited 15 minutes longer to get mine and when it finally came out, it was wrong. No double meat, no jalapenos like I clearly asked for. I sent it back, and they added the double meat, but still forgot the jalapeños.

At any other Newk’s, this wouldn’t even be a problem because the toppings and condiments are actually available on the stand like they’re supposed to be. But not here. I have to ask for bread and butter pickles every single time, and they act like it’s a big inconvenience. As a previous Newk’s employee at a different location. IT IS NOT DIFFICULT TO PUT THE CONDIMENTS AND TOPPINGS OUT. Honestly, I think it’s takes longer to individually cup 60 cups of pickles..

The service is slow, the setup is frustrating, and they clearly don’t have the same standards as other locations. I seriously hate this Newk’s. And I think serious actions need to be taken.

I used to think that Newk’s was one of those chains that are always top notch (like Chick fil a), but I guess...

My wife and I were in on Wednesday. Were not aware that a boil water notuce was in effect. When we orderd tea, the black girl went in a tirade about not being able to make tea. THE MOST RUDE TREATMENT WE HAVE EVER RECEIVED AT A RESTURANT. Because of this, I asked for manager, the quite disgruntled employee stormed off mumbling unkind words about my wife and I. Another small frame African American young lady took our order and we seated. She was quite polite. When food was served, we asked the server to see manager, that never came. This all happened about 1:45 on Tursday, 25th. We wont be back. Rudeness, and a manager to afraid to show their face does not deserve our service. Every time I come in there to order, no one greets you when you walk in. When I get ready to order the workers are always on their phone. I hear cursing all throughout the store and how we the customers get on their nerve. They always mess up my food and get an attitude when I ask them to fix it. Every time I come here I see the workers walking eating food while I’m waiting on my food. I see cellphones everywhere, The sweet tea tastes like it doesn't get changed and the store has an odor. The service is horrible, they all handle everything with a fake smile and a bad attitude. If you don’t want to work just go home.
