Whataburger — Restaurant in Vicksburg

I want to say, the cashier was great. Apparently, the lady Reyna… (she was the only one without a name tag so who knows if she gave me the right name) was very unprofessional and you could tell she uses unnecessary measures when she’s running the facility. We were at the register ordering. Apparently, an obvious new girl was working the register and learning, but something must have happened prior to where maybe a sandwich was ordered wrong and Reyna was obviously dead set on her selling this sandwich or paying for it. So, when I noticed Reyna pushing this sandwich to be sold I said I’ll take it. Well, then before we payed I changed my mind and decided I wanted something else. The cash register girl goes to get Reyna and she acts irritated and swinging her finger and attitude and says in the trashiest way possible in front of the lobby and us at the register “I dont know how you gonna sell that, but if you don’t it’s coming out of your paycheck”… Are you freaking serious… obviously someone who gets off on being in control and not a decent person. Her demeanor changed when she was called out but not leadership material at all, by any means. The store #879 really needs to evaluate who they are putting in leadership and how they are treating people. She honestly sucked as a leader and as a person you can tell. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the Whataburger itself other than leadership, but to see people treat their staff less than what they would want to be treated and obvious use control as leverage against people who are working there, is enough that I don’t want to go back. I think everyone in lobby felt that way. I’ve worked in fast food and never seen employees treated like such trash… I’m sure it happens more than I think but it’s sickening and sad. I do know that lots of food gets tossed out at the end of the day, you’re really going to threaten an employee and put pressure on customers because of an egg sandwich… epitome of unprofessional and controlling right there. Then she had to go down play how she acted to everyone else in the back so she didn’t look bad… lol, small place you can hear her story and version change from how she really acted...

Took my niece in for lunch on Sunday afternoon and had the worst experience ever at this location! No one greeted us as they usually do. Cashier was unfriendly and not helpful at all! She had absolutely NO customer service skills. The soda area was very messy! Ice falling on the floor from the soda machine. They were not busy at all, but the dinner area was awful!! We had to wipe our table and seat ourselves. We waited for our food the longest I have ever waited. I saw the cashier pick up our tray to bring it out and my niece's kids meal bag fell over and most if her fries fell on the floor. She did not come out to anyone with the condiments tray and I had to ask for ketchup. When she finally brought it out she just threw it on the table. We said thank you and she said nothing, not your welcome or anything! I've worked in costumer service 20 plus years and I feel if u give respect you should receive respect. When we got up to leave, the trash can was flowing over and the restroom was terrible!! I have always enjoyed going to this location and have never had such a bad visit. I like the morals Whataburger stands by. I love seeing the sign in the window that says One nation under God indivisible!! I think that means alot in this day and age with all the bad things happening in our country. I'm not sure if management has changed or what, but I hope to return and have a better experience. Horrible experience. My daughter and I did a pickup order to be brought out to the car. First, our drinks were wrong. The tea/lemonade tasted like water. You couldn't even tell it was supposed to be half tea and half lemonade. The other drink was supposed to be a Dr. Pepper and we were given some kind of milkshake. It would have been fine if we were not lactose intolerant. Took the drinks back in, and they remade them, but not after constantly asking me why i didn't like the drinks. DUH!!!! It's not what i ordered!!!! It took everything in me not to get upset and give everything back, get my money back, and go somewhere else. The Dr. Pepper was correct this time, but the tea was the same thing I had the first time. Tasteless!!!! I added sugar and just had sugar water. I poured it out and tried to refill it with just lemonade at the fountain in the dining area, and it didn't work. Not a single flavor worked!!!! I just threw the freaking tea in the trash and walked out. I got to the car and checked the rest of my order. Guess what???? Yep... it's not right either. Fries instead of onion ring. Ketchup that was requested, not in the bag. Burger is not right. I've been to this place in other cities. Today was my first visit to the one in Vicksburg, and it will be the last visit as well.. I definitely will not...
