M & M Pinto Beans — Restaurant in Victoria

Straight trash! Went two days in a row and each time was horrible! First day sat morning the children taking the order couldn't hold a professional conversation cause they were to busy laughing and acting childish so I had to repeat the order 3 times!! Went to get my order and asked them to repeat it and could bearly tell me the order back after checking my order twice I left and was disappointed by the bland taste... Decided to give them another go... Second day sun! Even worse! The same rookies were at it again not paying attention to the phone order had to repeat it multiple times! I get to the restaurant to pick up my order and the two cashiers/drive thru attendant are arguing! About who's getting what order and who got hot sauce and the answer is who cares give them whatever! Like what?? Wow...they then argue how much to charge me and I know it's straight chaos cause the day before I got the exact same thing but this time was cheaper.. That's kool but then that I means I will over paid the day before! Get the order home and what do know it's wrong! (big surprise) call the place asked to speak to someone in charge and I am told there is Noone in charge! Omg what?? Then I'm told by the rookie I can resolve the issue and I'm thinking it's about you so how can you? I then ask there's no management on duty? Then get told there's a manager but they are not here... Once again wow!! I hang up in disbelief of this place. Nothing was resolved and was straight handled like clown shoes! They were a good place when they had a restaurant on laurent years ago but I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK or...

The trick to eating at this place,is to go to the one on Main St! Most of the gripes I have read about are from the one on Rio Grande. My wife and I have been going there for a few years now, and have yet to have a problem! Food is always great,always fresh,plenty of it,good prices, and the girls are always right on with the service! I’m 69 years old and been going in Mexican food joints in South Texas all my life,and this place is easily one of the top three places I’ve ever eaten at! If I have to rate it with stars, I give it ten! So give them a try! Don’t let the crowded parking lot stop you from going! Even on Sunday morning when the lot is full,and people are backed out the door,never had to wait more than 15 minutes to get seated,and 15 to 20 minutes to get our food. Never had a wrong order,even when they were packed! Best migas around! Ask for some of their ranchero sauce for your eggs,you’re going to love it! Nothing bad...

The reason I gave 5 stars Because I have been going to Pinto bean since the late 90s where they 1st started that I know of off Laurent st … I had a bad experience not too long ago When I ordered a breakfast taco Regardless of any Mexican restaurant, I go to they always had this certain taco And when I told the lady kind of taco I was looking for when she came back with my taco , she told me this is the only way they make it. It was just ground meat, plain Jane dry .. And the manager try to get an attitude cuz I told her Iam not paying for it.
