I am reposting this here, as I just realized I had posted it at the wrong location. This is in regards to the call I made on Aug 6th to this 13680 location:
To the woman who answered the phone today at 952 a.m .... we just moved to the area and I came by once only to pick up coffee because I was craving diner coffee. I just swiped and left. It wasn't until later I realized they charged me almost $5 for one coffee. I didn't mind much. You know why? Because that coffee was absolutely delicious. I swore to myself I'd come back here for breakfast. My mom is in town and I wanted to take her for breakfast today. I called while sitting in my car in the garage and asked if there was a wait. I remember how tiny this place was and being Sunday, I wanted to make sure we wouldn't be waiting for an hour. Your response was "I don't know what the wait will be when you get here." I said, we are 5 minutes away. You said "I can't put your name down until you get here." ?? I said, I'm not asking you to put my name down, I'm asking approximately how long the wait is so that I.... you rudely cut me off and didn't let me finish my sentence. You raised your voice with a nasty attitude and tone saying.."about 25-30 minutes!!!" I still said, ok thank you, and hung up. What was so hard about that? Why are you so reluctant to give a guesstimate wait time? The wait time is a deciding factor for many people. Sometimes people have a limited time to eat, like we did today. People generally understand that a guesstimate is a give or take and obviously entirely depends on the fluctuation of your traffic, thats why it's a GUESSTIMATE. There was no need for you to get rude. I was being polite. You were on speaker in my car and even my mother was appalled at your flippant attitude. Needless to say, I immediately decided not to bring her here to avoid an even worse experience than what you just showed us. We live 5 minutes away yet I elected to instead take her to Jenny's, 20 minutes away. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go give them an excellent review. I absolutely cannot stand when an establishment is this unprofessional. I can handle long waits or even subpar food. Rudeness and bad attitudes, I cannot, especially, when it is...
Read moreWe came Sunday right after church so expected to have to wait. We were told there was one party in front of us for a 10 minute wait. We chose to sit at the 4-perso counter. They were busy, but we were done with our meal within an hour.
Entering, it seems small and close together. The 4-perso counter is immediately inside the door to the right. One column of booths to the right, kitchen directly center. It is a small place in a strip mall across from Stater Bros. But the feel while eating was cozy and friendly.
I chose the standard bacon/sausage & eggs with hash browns and English muffin. They offered banana bread, corn bread or biscuits & gravy. I opted to have half sausage half bacon. Eggs were cooked basted and perfectly done. Hash browns were crispy on the outside, but still soft on the inside, as I like them. Some places crispy the so much that there are no more potatoes, or don't crip enough so they are soggy. These were perfect. I am allergic to the pepper that most places put in sausage and everything to spice it up. I was pleased to find the sausage flavorful but not spicy.
They offered jelly for my muffin that was NOT grape or Strawberry! I was pleased to use the boisenberry jelly. My friend chose the apple cinnamon jelly. Orange juice was freshly squeezed and coffee wonderful.
Host & waitress were very friendly and attentive. My coffee kept refreshed as I wanted it, and not when I didn't.
They are only open for breakfast and lunch. There is another, larger, site in Apple Valley on Hwy 18 that is open for dinner. I have been there many times. This is my first visit to this location. But I will definitely have to come...
Read moreI normally go to the Apple Valley location which I love. This is my first time visiting this one and I have to say my breakfast was the best so far. I ordered the western omelette with the homestyle and I'll tell you what that omelet was not only made absolutely fantastic with so much care and attention to detail, I'm a little bit of a picky customer and every single thing I asked for was done perfectly and I just can't even explain how delicious my meal was. So now I have a dilemma because I love the staff at the location that's near my house but I'll tell you what the service and the food over here at this one was just off the hook so I may have to be rotating back and forth. I just wish that they had a bigger sign or a sign out on the corner because I searched for about 10 minutes before I found it. The only reason I even knew it was theirs because one of the waitresses that I like at the other location mentioned that she also works at this one. That's actually the reason I went there today was to look for her and say hi because I was in the area. It's very small and kind of hidden in the corner around the side of the shopping center. but I'll tell you if you want an amazing breakfast this is where you've got to go it's so so good. I would have added photos but I was so hungry and I couldn't believe how beautiful my omelet was I just inhaled it. Next time I'll get pictures and trust me you've got to go to try this place if you haven't gone it's amazing and so is the other Molly's don't get me wrong there really good over there to the one on h highway 18. It's mollies kountry kitchen, not Molly Brown's so please don't get them...
