Did a mobile order. 35 mins waiting for it to come out. I press the button and spoke with the young black kid about my order. He said he was getting it right then and was going to bring it out. 50 mins on still no order. Our order was only 4 drinks. I went in to speak to the manager Kaitlyn about our order and why the long wait. When I walked in I noticed people just standing around. The young black kid was on his phone. One white got was in the back doing what appeared to be preparing food. When I asked the manager about money refunded the skinny black kid started running his mouth at me in a threatening manner. I called the manager Kaitlyn outside to talk to her about what was going on and she said it’s been talk busy and she didn’t see my order on the counter. I told her I wasn’t mad with her but the black kid who said his name was Tyrell. Which I knew he was lying about his name. Should be terminated. I’m thinking about pressing charges against him and Sonic. The manager Kaitlyn send over whelmed and honestly shaken up. I believe the black kid wasn’t doing what the manger is requesting him to do. Also the smell of weed was strong on the kid. A couple of young girls ahead of us waited for over an hour. When they received the stuff it was cold. Ice cream products melted. The cups were dirty that the drinks were served in. This is very unacceptable… the inside of the business was filthy. I feel this business should be shut down and the owners...
Read moreSat in the drive-in, which you can't leave once you are in, for nearly 20 minutes before finally being able to order. Ordering process seemed to go fine. When I approached the window, the girl verified which order was mine, told me my total, and I handed her cash. She then closed the window for a minute, came back, she had drinks but they were incorrect, so no problem they can be fixed, and she left to fix our drinks for 2 more minutes. She comes back, hands us our drinks and I had to ask for my change, which I found odd. That took 3 more minutes, then I was given my change with no receipt. She then rudely closed the window before i could mention I was also waiting on food. 5 min later a manager approaches me and asks if I'm waiting on a order that was not my own, I said no I never received the rest of my order, which I was quickly handed with a very respectful attitude. The 4 stars is bc the manager was extremely respectful and quick to resolve my issue, plus the food was great. As far as the cashier goes, she needs training on what it means to be in customer service. It's not hard to smile and be friendly, and always make sure to hand people their change and a receipt. When we pulled up to the Sonic Drive-In, we parked in one of the stalls where they bring the food out, unaware that the system wasn’t working—there were no signs to indicate this. After reading the menu and pressing the button, we were told they were closed and that we had to use the drive-thru instead. By that point, several cars had already jumped ahead of us.
We waited 30 minutes in the drive-thru line, expecting to place our order at the window because nobody responded when we reached the order screen. When we got to the window and attempted to give our order, the employee informed us we were supposed to order at the display. I explained that nobody said anything when we were at the speaker, but she insisted we needed to get back in line, despite our long wait.
When I asked if I could just give her the order and pull to the side, she reluctantly agreed, but her attitude made me uncomfortable. At that point, I decided it wasn’t worth the risk of eating food prepared by someone unhappy, so we left and went elsewhere. A highly disappointing and frustrating...
