Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Vidor

I've visited a few times now for Dunkin' Donuts related products that were spot on--best coffee in town, honestly! The morning and evening weekday staff are nice, polite and thorough. Their weekend morning crew are the same. However, both times I've popped in on a weekend evening shift I've been met with a decided lack of training, and/or problem solving.

Today I tried Baskins Robins ice cream for the first time I ever. I wanted to get something that would be large enough for me to take home and share. I asked the girl behind the counter about the "Take Home pack regular size" and she was completely baffled. I tried clarifying twice, and was both times met with confusion and "I have no idea what you're talking about," even when I showed her the line item on the menu. I could see other people in the back she easily could have asked for help, but as a large line was forming behind me, I didn't feel like pressing the issue.

I got a couple scoops and left, and I'm not sure I'll be going back any time soon. Not only because the staff's complete confusion, but frankly a complete lack of selection. Their "31 flavors" really should be re titled "3 flavors every one has, 20 vaguely different ways to mix chocolate, vanilla, and caramel, and Name Brand Drop." But I guess that's less catchy. Where's the exciting ones they listed on...

Called at 10:14 to ask how long a custom polar pizza would take, they said 30 minutes but that they couldn’t start until i paid for it. Anything else i tried to say she would interrupt to repeat they cant start until i paid for it. I came to the store a couple hours later and the only person who can make polar pizzas wasn’t there. The employees were amazing and got in contact with the person who said no one mentioned a polar pizza to her and she left at 11. If she had mentioned leaving at 11 i could have been there before 1030, but instead she was rude and when i did show up to pay for it she lied and said she was never contacted. If I could give it a negative star I would! Ice cream was slimy, didn't have more than 6 flavors, was told not to get the cone because they had been sitting for months and were stale, But then was charged .20 cents for a cup. They didn't even have spoons to eat the ice cream with in the cup I had no choice to get (comes were stale) so I had to use a fork! I paid over $10 for a single scoop and a small mocha blast.
