I've been seeing reviews, videos and articles about Crumbl Cookies for awhile which is interesting because I eat a low to no carb diet. Like with most things I see in passing, I ignore them. Then one day I was curious and wanted to know if there were any near me. Point for subliminal message working. Even when you actively ignore what you see, it's still brewing in your subconscious. Unfortunately, there are locations near me. One in fact is near a coaching client of mine, so I got a 4-cookie box last week to try it out so I could say I've experienced it then close that temptation. That said, I found they were surprisingly good with a subtle but delicious batter flavor that hits the back of the tastes buds that lingers even while getting the flavor notes of the toppings, frosting or ingredients mixed in with the dough. The base of a cookie or the crust of a cheesecake is always my favorite part so I appreciate that Crumbl Cookies does this well. There is a nice sweetness to the cookies but doesn't knock you out with the surgary overload. I succumbed and ordered another box for after my coaching session today. They lure you in by offering new flavors every week with a video masterly produced and edited that makes each new cookie of the week look like manna from heaven. If it's coming from the heavens then how can you possibly turn away from something like that?!?!?! Places like Panera with their kitchen sink cookie are easy to ignore because it's the same thing all the time. For those who enjoy novelty and trying different things, then Crumbl Cookies will be your kryptonite because it'll weaken your resolve when you happen to drive by it frequently. The curbside pickup they offer will just be too hard to ignore. Try them. A four cookie box is only $14....

This was my first time purchasing from Crumbl and it was an extremely disappointing experience. I had placed a pickup order and arrived on time, tapped “I’m here” on my phone, and waited. When I first walked in and made eye contact with the staff member, she immediately turned around and went into the back. After a long wait she finally came out again, but only after serving customers who arrived after me did she acknowledge me — as if I didn’t exist.
Then, while preparing my order, she grabbed my cookies but only folded two of the three boxes required and left the last one on the counter for me to fold myself. I could understand if the store was packed and the staff overwhelmed, but there were only a few people inside and she happily folded boxes and served other customers.
The staff member remained cold and never said a single word to me throughout the entire interaction. In contrast, she would immediately greet other customers as soon as they walked in, even before they said anything, and happily engage them in small talk. I truly don’t understand why I was treated this way — I was the only Asian customer in the store and the staff herself and the customers she treated warmly were all white. It felt like clear discrimination, and it left me extremely upset.
If you are Asian, please think twice before coming here — unless you enjoy being treated with cold indifference and left feeling unwelcome for the rest...
Read moreI have to be honest with this one. This place was nasty. Side Note: The storefront looked great. You can easily tell that there is a true standard that is being upheld.
However, the cookies were awful. I ordered the chocolate chip, salted caramel, sugar cookie, and the Nutella. They all seemed to have a common flavor profile. That flavor is SALTY. I don’t know if we just had a bad batch where they had mistaken salt for sugar. Or if they had forgotten essential ingredients like vanilla or, for simplicity, I don’t know where they went wrong. But let me tell you, it was not pleasant. The sugar cookie had royal icing which was fine to an extent but it was pretty grainy and had a really noticeable artificial taste to it. If you remove the numerous toppings provided, you will understand that the cookie is nothing remarkable. It’s just plain, boring, and the flavor profile is a bit too subtle. Everything was mundane in my opinion. Especially to see that there is such a lack of significant features in the six cookies provided. Also the price of one cookie is $3.88 which could be from the area and other things factored in. I just don’t think it is worth it. I would like to try it again just to ensure that I just received a bad batch and that this isn’t the standard cookie that many people rave about. I just can’t see myself paying that price to be let down the...
