Had brunch at about 12:30 on a Sunday. Packed house, but we were seated quickly and there was no noticeable delay in service despite the crowd.
Going to change my usual routine of leading off with the food, just because it’s such a joy to watch a well-organized service team totally knock it out of the park. Picture every table in the place full, yet no delays or missed beats, and frequent check-ins to make sure everything is going well. Top marks in all wait staff categories, and bonus points for having Sugar Free pancake syrup available.
Food: Everyone was impressed with the looks and taste of their orders. I got a combo order of Strawberry Waffles with whipped cream, Bacon, and Grits (pictured). Absolutely five stars across the board. But while I was enjoying my food, I was also checking out everyone else’s plates with truly massive pancakes, gorgeous slabs of ham, and more… definitely going to have a few things on my list for next visit.
There was a pretty high noise level during peak traffic, but towards the end of the meal it did start to get better. Can’t even complain about it, it’s unavoidable at a certain level of activity. And the restaurant is still relatively new in town, so don’t put a whole lot of emphasis on the whole noise thing for now.
To recap: great food and presentation, friendly and remarkably efficient service combine for an absolute win....
Read moreWe were brits visiting on our way back to the airport. We visited on their second Saturday since opening - it was a bit of a wait, but they seated us fairly quickly (a party of 7) considering there was footfall easily every 30 seconds. The food was absolutely divine - easily the freshest and nicest food we’ve had this holiday. We were served by Nicole, and seated by a friendly front desk member who was doing a fab job with handling the busy waiting line.
What a great restaurant with very friendly staff, and a good taste of fresh food like we have back home. I’d rate it 11/10 and recommend any Brit to go visit. The kitchen’s food was a cut above the usual American restaurants. Sheila served our other table (we decided to split), and was equally as...
Read moreWe are Kiki‘s experts from the restaurant on 192 in Melbourne. They opened up a new one in Viera, which is closer to the house. We went there today, which was their third day of opening. It was a little busy, but the wait was only 20 minutes. The food was outstanding waffles eggs potatoes, and bacon all cooked perfectly. Our server, Gabby was exceptional. She was very attentive to filling our coffee cups and water and whatever we need. The manager Bailey came over and talked to us and was also very friendly and cordial. It looks like we have a new Kiki‘s to go to. Keep up the...
