My sisters and I chose to give this restaurant a try since we were craving Mexican cuisine and it was the closest to the hospital where we had been dealing with our own hardships. We came in and felt as though we were being evaluated by the wait staff as African American customers. In a nearly empty restaurant where the majority of their current patronage was of European descent, on a bright beautiful day when a patio spot would have been welcomed, we were seated at a table in the back of the restaurant next to a waitress folding napkins into silverware. We also couldn't help but notice that besides her, the only other people seated was an African American couple and all we could think was, black seated in the back. It was only after her getting us drinks and sitting down to continue folding silverware right next to us for 15 mins and giggling with her co-worker that we decided that our money was best spent elsewhere. We asked her for our check and knowing how badly she screwed up she came over and started trying to push margaritas on us several times after telling her we don't drink and simply wanted our check. She then tried to engage us in a stupid conversation about hair and after keeping our cool for a couple more minutes finally presented us with our check. With so much competition between Mexican restaurants in Villa Rica, I must say this is the absolute worst by far! If you want to be respected as human beings take your...
Read moreDisgusted, disturbed, and disappointed. After a long day at the hospital, my sister's and I came here to eat a nice meal. The hostess, after deliberating, takes us all the way to the back near the restroom and to a table in front of the only other black person in the restaurant. Mind you its also right next to a server rolling silverware so all we hear is loud clanging. We noticed this immediately as the restaurant was almost empty yet we were sat in the back. We chose to just push through as we were super hungry but unfortunately our waitress would not come back to the table despite sitting right next to us and chatting with the other server while they did silverware. It was so bizarre! We decided to just get the check and that's when she kept pushing us about getting margaritas even though we asked for the check multiple times. It was very uncomfortable and we were being VERY nice. She obviously was trying to get us to stay but the damage was done. She kept talking g about braids and colors in her hair and even offering to get us more chips and salsa though we barely touched them. On our way out we noticed how they sat thr other guests compared to segregating us in the back. Completely unacceptable and...
Read moreWe went on Tuesday night for dinner. We were a party of four and I also placed two to-go orders. One of them was Enchilada supreme. I got text from my child that it was a wrong order (nachos) and he didnât eat because thatâs not what he wanted. Next day, as soon as the restaurant opened, I went there for a refund with receipt and the food that he didnât eat. The hostess immediately went to the back to tell someone in charge. The restaurant was not busy at all as it just opened. It took about 10 min for the person in charge to come out. I explained the situation. He said that they have never issued a refund and didnât know how to do it, but he went to the back with my receipt and food to âcheck the camera.â I was there another 15-20 min standing there. I finally told the hostess to please go get him because it didnât make sense to take this long and I was just leaving. He finally came out, said he was issuing the refund but needed my name, phone number and email address. I am not sure if he just told me that so I would think they will issue a refund and leave there, but as of Friday today, thereâs no refund yet. This experience left me bitter taste, I was hoping they will treat this...
