06/02/24 It has been a long time since I posted about this Chipotle. Mainly because I stopped going after this store kept closing early, always had long lines when open. But the food was not very good with cooks who kept burning the meats, which not one person in our family will eat burnt meat because it tastes awful.
Today I grab lunch for my son and his friend and I was questioning the size of portions when I asked for the bell pepper and red onion to add onto my salad. It was embarrassing to say the least watching this server add a few pieces of the mix. When I asked for double protein I almost asked them to take the steak back because it was not enough for the amount I paid for the double meat. With prices so much higher today than two years ago, be aware Chipotle is no longer worth the amount customers are forced to pay these days. I started making my own Mexican food so will avoid chipotle.
1/30/23: Another low for this store. I tried to walk in to pick up a healthy bowl from Chipotle at around 7:40. Unfortunately I was instructed, the store was only taking online orders. This stores pickup is awful, not to mention this store has an issue with turnover so most of the time whoever is cooking the meat burns the meat (now a piece or two is one thing, but when the majority is black it taste awful) I will never order online only to show up to pick my food up, drive home, only to find everything is cold? Read the reviews the common theme with this store is they have used every excuse known to man why the close the front door and stop taking walki-ins and focus on online orders (which other reviewers complain about cold food or paying for double meat and barely receiving any meat or showing up with only meat and some other random item like sour cream). QUESADILLA’S cannot be order when you walk-in to the store to order (even if you are the only person standing in line and even more telling is that everyone of the three parties who did go in while I was writing this review left empty handed.). Chipotle used to mean quality food and service for a reasonable price, however now it means “be lucky if you receive what you order” and “maybe your food will be hot if have a takeout order” and “maybe MtKisco Chipotle store is open for walk-in today, yet ALWAYS DISAPPOINT”
OMG again, this store closed its front line before 6:45pm, so will only accept digital orders. EXCEPT, if the one thing I know for a fact, all digital orders I have made at this store have been cold, sparse on the meat and cheese, and if you made an order with a long duration between your order and your pick up time (everything will be ice COLD. Just close already!
OLD POST: Wow this place should just close! This is the second time this week the store closed at some obnoxious time. The sign states closing at 7:15, except the front doors are locked at 6:48. How can a company run a business like this, where 4 of the 5 last visits to grab a bowl for dinner have ended with the door locked. Honestly go to a different one, because this place is awful. 1/30/22: I tried to order for the first time in months because I stopped going. Every time my son and I would arrive the front doors would be locked (usually because short staff or short food, sadly most of the time it was closed at 7pm for no reason, because they tell me if I did not make an online order I could not order). So tonight I see people actually eating inside, a person standing in line and think maybe Chipotle tonight for the first time in months because I dislike the MtKisco store so much. Well being what this store is, they did not disappoint. So I tried to walk in and make an order, but was quickly shot down once I stated I wanted two quesadilla (and a bowl) I was told this store does not make quesadillas unless they are ordered online (except they did not realize every time I have order online the food is cold). Sadly I turned around and left. This store dissects negative rating because even though I was the only person in line, they would not make...
Read moreThis was my first time at a Chipotle. I wanted to say I had it. This review mostly discusses Chipotle as a company, but this location get's this review since it is the only one I have eaten at. So to the Chipotle of Mount Kisco staff and owners of this location, take this review with a grain of salt.
Chipotle is nothing to write home about. The food is decent, but nothing special. I definitely believe it is over hyped and over priced. I paid $18 for a burrito and it didn't include a drink or sides. Yes, that is only what I wanted, but I definitely believe $18 was way to much for just a single burrito. I did add avocado which usually results in an upcharge anywhere. Still, $15 is way too much for a single burrito. I could get a burrito meal combo with a drink and chips for less at Salsa Fresca and Moe's. I could also get a burrito combo with a drink and chips for literally half of the price at Taco Bell.
Again, the food was decent, but nothing to write home about. I am not sure what the hype is all about with Chipotle. Not a bad meal, but not worth the price.
As for this individual location, the service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant is well kept and clean. The people who own and operate this location do a great job at running this location. So if you are a Chipotle fan, I would definitely recommend...
Read moreOkay here it is. Chipotle's Managers including one Kai that I had the displeasure of serving me one day, The Management Team in Kingston and what seems to be a growing chronic problem of not filling their Kids build your own to the top of the tray. They follow strict guidelines on putting 2 ounces 1 spoon of food in each section. With that being said it does not fill two Taco's and not even 1. I have been told non truth's by these three stores. Fishkill, Kingston and Mount Kisco about them changing the container of the kids build your own. I found out that was incorrect. The Staff in Kingston is not professional and have no professional guidance. they say and remark to Customer's however they want. I also had a few poor experiences in the store at Mohegan Lake. Same thing the Staff talks to Customer's in ill manner like they make the rules. I only remain patronizing Chipotle due to another thata enjoys the food or else they would not see me returning until I saw new faces and they improve on the mannerisms of the staff to the Customer. It was unacceptable. I am speaking, I have sent several e-mail to Corporate and they have not or do not want...
