I can’t even begin to express my disappointment with this location and new vehicle pickup process. I had seen so many YouTube videos of people picking up their new model 3 and how the car is located in a nice location or inside and it’s charging and the delivery person goes over all the features and shows you how to charge and does a walk around. I received none of this. It started from the moment I went online and placed the order. I somehow got a call from a salesman in Boston ( I live in CT) who said he was my salesman but my vehicle was going to be delivered to the Mt Kisco, NY location. This was annoying because I had to deal with a person not even at the location where my vehicle was to be delivered, this was frustrating because of some of the issues that arose. The second issue was with the loan application not processed and I waited a week and several emails sent and calls. After multiple calls only to be told they could not find the application even though it appeared online so I had to reapply and was then notified several hours later that it went through with a great rate . The third issue was I called to update my pickup date and time to a day earlier. (This request was 2 weeks before my initial pickup date) and was told by my salesman that he would take care of it. 4 days later it’s still not updated online and so I call the Mt Kisco location and ask if my updated pickup date was changed and I was informed that it was not so he proceeded to supposedly help me by fixing it and said it was all set. Well the day before I was supposed to pick up the car it still wasn’t updated online so I called again to the Mt Kisco location as my salesman who was located in Boston was useless to inquire and of course it was still wrong and no one updated the new pickup date and time . Finally less than 24 hour before my scheduled pickup time I was able to finally get the information updated online and good to go. I had also requested to have any updates to the car performed as they had the vehicle for a week before I was able to pick it up so they had plenty of time to do so. Well i arrived at my scheduled time of 12:00 and was shocked to see how small this location was and how inefficient and poorly it was run. At 12:30 I was told my delivery person was busy with a customer and would be with my shortly. 45 minutes later she came over to us to apologize and say she would be with us shortly. 15 minutes later she arrived all stressed out and going a million miles an hour and said since I paid in full and there was no loan paperwork it was going to be quick ( I decided to skip the Tesla loan) finally she said she’d be back in 5 minutes with my car. We proceeded to walk outside to look for it. 15 minutes later she pulls into the dealership so we now have been there for 1hr and 45 minutes. We see the car she seriously said ok here are the key cards do you want help putting on the plate I said no and she was about to be done with us and move on. She spent over an hour showing the customer before us all the ins and outs of the car. With me she did nothing, she didn’t show us how the charging cable worked nothing. We had to ask to setup the phones and then she was gone. I said hang on let me look over the cars as I have heard about minor defects to note before I left or else it would be harder to prove later. She waited for me to look over the paint cleaned one spot I noticed and the other spots she said were not fixable and I would have to either deny the car and leave it after driving almost 2 hours or accept it the way it was. We did then she left. I was floored by the poor customer service and experience all around. Thankfully the car is amazing and of course no updates were done like I asked, the service side of this company and this location was beyond disappointing. I’d give it a 0 star if I could. I seen other reviews and see I’m not the only one who had bad experiences at this location their excuses were they were understaffed but that doesn’t make sense seeing they scheduled the pickup times for...
Read moreLet me start off with the fact that i absolutely love my tesla model 3... however it is ashame that this amazing car comes with horrible customer service. I purchased my vehicle June 3rd. I was convinced by my sales person id recieve a rebate of about approximately 5,700. I however had to have my plates mailed to me since i am a CT resident. After emailing my sales person with a status for 2 weeks i recieved no answer to find out he was no longer employed with the company. I continued to call to recieve an update as to where my plates were. These lazy employees would continue to say okay you will get a call, never recieved any calls . Finally after 30 days I call and finally one employee decides to do his job and he informs me i owed taxes and they couldn't register the car until paid . I am livid to the fact that i didn't know this 1 month prior. I now pay the taxes immediately. Ofcourse they dont process anything until later on closer to the rebate dead line. They blame me and not the horrible staff who doesn't answer any of your emails or calls. Oh and Alexis... Alexis loves to ignore e-mails, voicemails any attempt to contact her she clearly doesn't do her job. We also have Vaughn who is interesting. I call upset asking for a manager he responds " may i ask why " i spend 30 minutes explaining how upset i was with the entire experience he listens and states he will talk to his boss never finds it neccessary to actually mention he is indeed a manager and introduce himself properly.. promises me a call by 11:00am the next day never hear from him. completely disrespectful and now we have Philip who is also a " manager" i personally drive to mount kisco to get answers as to why i haven't received my plates and when i would be recieving this rebate and why was this not taken care of a long time ago. Philip attempts to blame me when i as the customer did everything promptly. He promises me he will follow up and see what he can do. He also mentions Vaughn was his boss and he was the person i spoke with yesterday !! He clearly is ANOTHER moron ignores text messages , promises a phone call with an update. MORE than a week later he calls says they cannot process the rebate .. pretty much this was all of my fault doesn't hold his staff accountable at all. I have proof from the dmv showing they didn't attempt to register the car until about a month later which i will be presenting to corporate. This place has a bunch of lazy people working here who do not consider your time or value your business. I do not plan to drive here for my next vehicle. I'd rather drive further to another location than to deal with these people . I recieved my plates almost 2 months after owning my vehicle AND never recieved the rebate tesla promises when you purchase thier vehicle. The worst experience i have ever had...
Read moreDisappointing from the start. We went to Tesla of Mt. Kisco to check out the Tesla 3 and go for a test drive. The Tesla website said we did not need a reservation so we didn’t make one. We pulled our car onto the lot. Immediately a woman from the dealership came over and said the lot was for people bringing in Tesla’s or trade-Ins. Can we please park on the street? We asked if she was kidding but she was not so we parked on the street where there were meters and we had to put quarters in the meter. Certainly not a good start. When we walked inside, there were lots of small tables (maybe 20?) with chairs but no cars. It felt like an Apple store, not a car dealership. We were told that they had a Tesla 3 inside but replaced it with tables recently. So on a winter day, we can’t look at a car inside the dealership? This is definitely not what we expected from a high end car dealership. So a lady from the dealership comes over to us and takes us outside to look at the Tesla 3. She shows us the trunk and how to charge it and then shows us the inside of the car. Then we asked again about going for a test drive. She mentioned that the test vehicle is out now and won’t be back for 1/2 hour. Ok, so we said we’d have lunch first and then come back. She continued to look at her tablet and eventually told us we couldn’t do a test drive today. We’d have to make an appointment for a future date. Huh? We told her the website said we didn’t need an appointment. And this is a Wednesday morning, a work day. So we decided and told her we’d make an appointment using the website.
Before we left, I used the bathroom. However, there were no paper towels. And surprisingly, the toilets were not automatic flushing toilets. Really? At a Tesla dealership? This is beyond belief. And I believe if Elon Musk came by and visited this dealership, he would not be very happy at all and heads would roll.
Needless to say, I will not be buying a Tesla from this dealership or go back to this dealer. I’ll wait for a new dealership to come up in Danbury or Ridgefield Connecticut. Or maybe get a plug-in hybrid from BMW.
Suggestions for Tesla of Mt. Kisco: Have an employee either valet a visiting car or walk to the car parked on the street and pay the meter. Change the website to ask potential visitors to make reservations for a test drive. During the winter months, have some Tesla’s inside for potential buyers to check out. Have employees check the rest rooms for...
