Bill and Roxy's Shenanigans — Restaurant in Village of Richfield

We came to this restaurant due to 4.7/5 rating and photos of food. We arrived and nobody was in there except the bartender. We were given our sodas before the menu and felt obligated to order at this point. We were then told no cheese curds and did not have much to offer that my family was interested in. While the bartender went to the kitchen we noticed how dirty and unorganized the bar area was. She then went into a supply room where it was extremely disorganized, again concern for cleanliness. My kids and I walked to look at the back part of the bar and noticed how extremely unkept the actual kitchen was. Dirty towels on the floor, old food, and didn’t look like the floors were cleaned in months. Then looked at the fryer and toaster which was covered in yellow grease that was very thick and again had been a very long time since it was cleaned. When I asked to talk to the bartender about my concerns she said “there are no bugs and I know it needs to be mopped” without me even talking about bugs and just bringing concerns of the filth and food safety for my kids. We ultimately asked if we could pay for our sodas and would not be accepting food due to cleanliness concerns. The bartender was pleasant and said the sodas were on her. We were passing through doing some shopping and found this place on google maps. When you walk inside we instantly felt welcomed(which is huge for us, I love supporting small businesses when they make you feel like a welcomed paying customer!). Now the true review..our food...HANDS DOWN ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Our burgers were juicy, well seasoned and cooked to perfection! Chatted with one of the owners and 90% of their menu is homemade! I always say I'm willing to try anything once; and that's all I'll ever do here. Service was terrible, dude at the bar barely said 3 things to us and got our pizza order wrong. No refills on the drinks, never checked on us and I had to chase dude down to pay the bill. Pizza was made with frozen crust that tasted slightly better than cardboard. The place was a wreck with stuff and boxes all over the place. I won't be back and I don't recommend anyone bother exploring here - I have no idea how it ever got...
