I wish I was coming with a better review but honesty is needed here . This was my first time trying Alex's Pizza , based off the reviews I decided to take a chance and see if it was a hidden gem . Well, this place is more like a hidden rock . I ordered two plain slices of pizza where I thought I was going to get your regular triangle pizzas ya know , not the case I received 4 pieces of pizza that you would serve the kids in school . Shit the kids pizza in school is even better than this . There was barely any sauce on the slices I received and it tasted like absolutely nothing. The blandest pizza I've ever had and I have eaten pizza from all the place . In my opinion don't waste your time getting food from here cause you'll be disappointed and still hungry . Lucked into finding this gem after the unexpected closure of another business on the block. The classic old sign on the front sets you up for what lies within; a classic old-school pizzeria with decor to match the sign! The only concession to modern times appear to be the variety of offerings when compared to an old schilool pizzeria. Had an impeccable cheesesteak served on a wonderful Italian roll, while my wife had a 4 slice pan pizza with green peppers. And, even though I HATE green peppers, I couldn't resist trying it, since my wife liked it so much, and it was absolutely fantastic!
