Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food — Restaurant in Vineyard

I've been here multiple times with a great experience but this last time left me 2nd guessing. The customers ahead of us were patiently waiting for the steak still cooking on the grill and still in line. The gentleman serving the meat was super nice and seemed new but great customer service telling us we didnt need to wait and can continue to the end of the line. The cashier however was not very friendly. Not only was he rushing everyone through but was rudely asking me to hurry and pay while I was telling the server what I wanted, which obviously i wasnt ready to pay for our food. I told the cashier I wasn't done. He rolled his eyes and was being very rude to the server. I finally went to pay for our food and had a gift card that wasn't going through. He seemed very bothered by this and finally after 3 attempts of using the card machine, he took my card and ran it through on his side. The cashier seemed to be in a rush but as I'm looking at the line, the restaurant wasn't that crowded. I hope my next experience will be better...

Terrible customer service. My husband submitted an online order and went to pick it up, he went and read the name on the bag to make sure it was the right one, and then started heading out and one of the workers (a middle-aged lady in a Hawaiian-style shirt) went up to him and pulled the bag right out of his hands and said something along the lines of, “WE NEED TO CHECK THIS BEFORE YOU JUST COME UP AND TAKE IT”, and he said something like, “okay… well it is mine though…?” And then she said something along the lines of, “well okay.” And gave it back to him… I understand that its probably a good idea for them to check first to make sure people aren’t just taking people’s food but there’s better ways of treating people. This is not the first instance of exceptionally poor customer service we’ve experienced here. Be kind. Be understanding. We will not be going back, even if it’s inconvenient to go to a location farther away. Also, the extra $2 for “steak”...

When it opened I would have given this place a 5 star in fact I should have. (Sorry) lately over the past little while some of the staff seem short with costumers and not as friendly as they used to be. Dont get me wrong this place i put on par with like chick fli a status friendlyness normally. So not as friendly is still really good. The other sad part it seems the prices have gone up or they give smaller portions. That was one of the big reasons i came there is i could get a huge chicken meal for a fair price and it was awesome. I dont know if they are under new management or something but it seems things are going down hill a little bit. Edit 2/16/21: quality has started to go down hill as well the chicken was tough and dry and still some how had a ridiculous amount of fat hanging off it. rice was under cooked and portions continued to shrink i dont think I'll be coming back to any location and I'll have to advise friends to...
