(THE MANAGER DESCRIPTION, small (5’7) stout black lady, brown eyes) before I pulled up to the window she was yelling “Hello?? Hello?!” on the intercom. As I pulled up to the window to use my code for some free fries, and she goes “Okay what’s the number,” and as I’m trying to tell her the number, she goes “maam you’ve used this number” I said “oh, I didn’t but let me refresh the page,” she goes “okay what can I get for you?” I said “well I’d like what I had on the app—“ and before I even got to finish she goes “maam how am I supposed to know what you got on the app? I don’t got it up in front of me?” I was like “okay, well you have an attitude, I was just gonna pull up and show you” and she goes “I don’t have an attitude maam, matter fact, have a good day! Have a good day!!” I was like “okay, I need to speak to your manager” and she goes “I’m the manager” I was said “well, I’m pulling up to the window because I’m holding up the line” because I genuinely wanted to speak to her or at least see who she was. As I pull up to the first window, there’s a different lady, a lot kinder and more patient. I read out my code, place my order. (All I wanted some fries and nuggets, yall 🤣) Boom, that’s done, so I pull up to the next window and the manager with the attitude goes, “Are you the lady?!” And I said “yes, why do you have an attitude?” She instantly says, “maam, that’s my tone—“ I interrupt her and say “your tone stinks, you do not talk to people that way. That’s rude” and then I explain what was rude, her saying “I can’t see your order in front of me maam how am I supposed to know what you want when it’s not in front of me?” I said “it’s how you say things!” She continues “well I can’t help it, it’s my tone” I was like “well, you were being rude. For no reason. I understand if you had a bad day but you don’t take that out on people you don’t know” and she goes; “I didn’t have a bad day” So; I stop talking to her because obviously she doesn’t see what’s wrong with her behavior. She hands me my food and I ask for cooperate, so to be slick she goes “it’s on the receipt,” I call the number, doesn’t work. She must not think I have google? So I called the ACTUAL cooperate number at their regional office here in Columbus and I reported her. I’ll update yall when (if) they call me back, because honestly, I just want her disciplined in some way because that was really disturbing and super...
Read moreI ordered a sausage and egg mcmuffin with 2 diet cokes through the mobile app and then went through the drive-thru to pick it up. After I was done interacting with the cashier at the 1st window and was waived to the next window, I saw that a bag was being handed to the truck in front of me and then that person handed it back because it was apparently not his order. They then immediately gave him other food and he drove off. I then approached the pick-up window and observed the employees inside trying to figure out what was in the bag they had just tried to give to the person in the truck. They gave up and attempted to hand me a large plastic bag and a Krispy Kreme donut. Given that I knew I had only ordered my mcmuffin, I knew this wasn't mine so I stopped the gentleman from handing it out the window and told him what I had ordered (mistakenly saying I had ordered a biscuit and not mcmuffin). After a couple minutes, I was able to clarify to them that I mistakenly said said biscuit and they then handed the bag that had been given to the person in the truck. I could look past the fact that another customer had handled my food but what I can't look past is the manager telling me what I did wrong to confuse her employees. I already knew and had corrected myself. To be fair to myself, her employees were already confused before I even made it to the window. This was clear since they had tried to give my food to the truck in front of me and then tried to give someone else's food to me before a word was even spoken to me. This is actually the 3rd time that this particular manager has chosen to inform me, as a customer, what I did wrong instead of coaching her staff... hell, she's never even thanked me or told me to have a nice day. Just told me what I did wrong. Today, I expressed my frustration to her about this and she just kept shouting "Sir" at me and gesturing with her hand that she wanted me to leave the drive-thru. I can only imagine how she treats other customers if this is how she treats someone who was trying to be helpful and had already owned up to his own mistake. I'm to the point where I'm almost feeling too intimidated to go to McDonald's...
Read moreWorst experience at McDonald’s in my life. We waited 45 minutes for our food. People that came in 20 minutes after I did got their food before me. People that were waiting 20 minutes longer than me still didn’t have their food even after I received mine after 45 minutes and they had little children with them. Instead of helping the cook staff the manager was more worried about filling the receipt paper in the kiosks.
Also McDonald’s I don’t know what you guys are doing but if your restaurant is busy how do you expect people to enjoy dine in service when they can’t even get napkins ketchup or anything for themselves and they we have to wait in line for ever to get ketchup or napkins.
You guys have been around forever and you’re making the dine in experience non existent. The fact that I had cash with me and wanted to pay in cash I was told that all the orders go through the kiosk but they would make an exception for me and take my order. Then took $3.42 extra from me because they were so busy they couldn’t do the math of the change I was owed. Thankfully the change was given back to me.
You guys are trying to revamp your selves to bring in a younger crowd however you’re pushing people away. The younger crowd is going to come in irregardless of what it looks like inside because your McDonald’s but keep going like this and your not going to have any crowd.
I ordered for myself husband and dad. Ordered two McDouble meals and one double cheeseburger meal. Our order came out with two mcchicken meals and no double cheeseburger we had to continue to wait for our food to be given to us.
