Last night was the second time we ordered pizza within the last two weeks here. The first time it was amazing so we decided to return and invite our family from out of town. I ordered the Paps special 16 inch. My brother and sister ordered stuffed shells, meatballs, and a 14 inch Philly cheese steak pizza. We made it to the next light and called because we’ve never had a Philly cheese steak with pizza sauce. We called and asked for something else. We were advised that we would receive the difference in price, but they never processed it. I then decided to eat a slice of my pap while we waited and immediately noticed there was no sausage. I went inside to show him. He laughed and said “Oh I forgot to tell you we have no sausage.” He promised a difference in the price. I paid $27 for an incorrect pizza that is still sitting in the refrigerator. The taste was not as good as the first time. I also noticed while we were waiting that the guy taking the pizzas out of the oven did not wash his hands. He would sweep the floor and then take a pizza out of the oven and cut it with his hands on the crust. This is unacceptable. Read moreI've been getting pizza from Pizzeria NY for years, probably since they opened. And just about every time, I am disappointed. The pizza is usually good, that's not really the problem. One of the problems is the long wait time and the fact that when I order they say it'll be about 25 minutes but most times my pizza has taken 45-60+ minutes to be ready. The other problem is that the employees always seem confused, chaotic, behind, and unsure of what is going on. This was very much the case when I was there on 6/14/22. The man working did give me a discount because there was so much confusion and such a long wait time (my order didn't seem to be in the system but my pizza was being made, they were taking multiple calls at once and having to put people on hold, and struggling with taking orders and using the credit card machine). I appreciated the discount, but the problems seem to happen the majority of the time I order pizza here, and I'm just tired of it. It will be a long time before I ever order from here again, if ever. Read moreI ordered a 14” pizza, salad, and cheesecake at 6:44pm on a Tuesday. You would think they would not be that busy on a weekday so I figured it would take at most an hour to get my order cooked and delivered. Well, I called at 7:28pm to confirm they had received my order and they stated it would take 30 minutes for it to be done. It’s 8pm and there’s no pizza (at this point it’s been 1 hour and 16 minutes since I placed the order). I call at 8:06pm and I am being told that the pizza is finishing up and they’re getting ready to go out to deliver. At close to 8:40pm, my order arrives, nearly 2 hours from when I placed the order. The pizza was cold and it didn’t taste that good. I was so disappointed. The cheesecake tasted good as it was a cold dessert so no problems there. I will never order from them again though.
