Horrible experience. The place was nearly empty and we still received terrible service. There were tons of flys in the restaurant 🤮 and our waitress was pretty rude and did a horrible job. No one got refills except my preteen son who ordered root beer and apparently they don’t have free refills so they were $3.25 a pop. His beverages were more expensive than his kids meal 🙄 Luckily all of my kids got the tenders & fries and it got rave reviews. The waitress forgot to put in one of our kids meals and our 3yo didn’t get any food. He’s easy and split someone else’s food so we avoided a meltdown but that waitress actually tried to bring it out in a box for us to take home with our bill. A good 30-40 minutes after everyone else was served. I ordered the she crab soup and it had zero flavor and tasted like melted butter. There were more shells in it than crab meat. The chicken quesadilla, Buffalo chicken wrap, and fish were unimpressive also. The gator bites were pretty good but some pieces were overcooked and chewy but the dipping sauce was excellent. I’ve been coming here for over a decade, but today will change that. After ordering, we waited over an hour for food, at 1 pm on a Wednesday with 5 other tables. My group got 3 orders of gator tail. Two were so overcooked that they looked like beef jerky and were completely inedible. One tasted very off, all three got sent back. The chicken strips were so overcooked that we debated sending them back but decided to cut our losses. One person got fried fish, it was mostly breading and was also severely overcooked. The poor waitress was running the bar and front of house entirely by herself, so service was very slow. Not her fault, whoever staffs the place needs to schedule better.
