What a slap to the face. I don’t know what the hype for this place is all about. We walked in seeing all the filled up seats thinking this place was the right pick but boy were we wrong. Out of the Lo mein, general tsos, hot and sour soup, and calamari fries, the only one that was worth trying again was the calamari fries. We spent over $50 for something we’re better off getting next door at a real Chinese restaurant. Decide whether you’re going to be a Chinese or American restaurant because you can't serve burgers and general tsos chicken under the same roof and expect it to be better than one that actually specializes in it. I just feel bad for everyone who ate there and thought it was wonderful because clearly they don’t know what real Chinese food tastes like. The servers and kitchen worker also add items to your dishes directly with their bare hands. Sitting at the table that looks directly into the kitchen, I witnessed 3 employees do that, which was a huge turn down to my appetite. Don’t get me started on the wait time. I have been here twice and today my friend offered this as an option for lunch. A bit of a drive but certainly worth it. We opted to sit outside as it was a very nice day. The waitress cleaned the table and chairs. My friend and I looked at the menu board prior to our seating. We ordered the 4 Spring Rolls as an appetizer ($13.50). Sauces are awesome! My friend had the Asian platter (17.50) with a meat skew. I had the Seafood Lover's Fried Rice - Shrimp, Scallops, and more ($21.00). No way we can recommend this place, no one wants to spend $16 a plate on mostly white rice, a few undercooked pieces of broccoli and VERY minimal chicken or beef. I wanted to like this place, I gave them 3 opportunities. Two times we ordered takeout, one time we ate inside the restaurant, each time was worse than the last but because we live so close we had to try other items on the menu to make sure.
