I'm really sort of torn in my review. What my companion ordered was told to be magnificent as did our neighboring tables entree's.. Mine however.. not even close! Looking for something fast fresh and simple... I ordered 1/2 lbd. steamed shrimp. What came to the table was about a dollar per shrimp and looked tasty.. but in the first bite I found that this might not be so good. My shrimp was undercooked, much worse than raw since the heat brings out the bacteria yet it wasn't cooked enough to have been "safe". I sent it back into the kitchen.. again, it came out not only STILL undercooked and plated differently, but this time in taking a bite, my nose caught whiff of the most ungodly smell of ROTTEN...I couldn't believe it. Immediately I dropped the shrimp, and smelled my hands. Yeap there was no doubt that this was something I shouldn't be smelling at dinner much less in a restaurant table. I'm not sure which one it was or I'd have taken a picture. They were so spiced with old bay that I couldn't have rightly pinpointed one out for sure, although I had my suspicions onone in particular. When I took the plate back, nothing was said or compensated other than she would remove it from the bill.. Nevermind that we had asked for small fries twice and in sitting and watching everyone else eat I finally asked if the fries were almost ready.. They were never ordered as she assumed the stance of uncertainty in whether we were actually wanting them when requesting the order!!! Yeeea, okay. This morning I am thinking to cll the Manager as I haven't heard anything but good things about the food. Our order was 45 minutes in for broiled blackend fish, salad, potatoes which are usually either kept in a warmer or microwaved. And a salad.. Meanwhile how difficult is it to cook SHRIMP? In memory now, I had noticed she was pushing for the fried shrimp when I ordered so perhaps next time I go out somewhere I may take the recommendation.. then again, would I have been eating spoiled fried shrimp and not have noticed...

Read moreWas suggested this restaurant because it is kid friendly. It was kid friendly, but that’s it—and I might not even give them that because they didn’t give us extra napkins, just the single napkin that comes with the silverware—we’ve got a 2 year old at the table, come on! The food was like cafeteria food (also plated on hospital cafeteria plates), the oysters Rockefeller were wayyy over cooked and the cheese was gritty and cold (not melted at all). My boyfriend requested a medium cooked hamburger with just cheddar and bacon, but received an over well done burger with lettuce, onion and cheese and no bacon. Why ask the cook of your burger if it’s not going to be cooked like that? My brother couldn’t even finish his soft shell crab sandwich—it was all breading and grease. We also did not receive a placemat or silverware for one person in our party. They had to use the oyster fork to eat their meal. They didn’t come to check on us after we received our food, no refills, no napkins, no check—and I had to go ask the one waitress SITTING at the counter for napkins and the check when they neglected to come back to our table, and no she did not have a broken foot like the waitress before her shift change did (in case the owner was reading this). The dining room wasn’t even half full, they had a handful of servers, AND we came between meal hours—so it was not busy. I wouldn’t take the time to write this if I didn’t feel this strongly about warning possible patrons about this restaurant. ‘Twas not good AT ALL: 0/10 would not do again. I do not believe for one second Guy Fieri stepped foot into this restaurant. — From A Former...
