Bojangles — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I will never visit a Bojangles again after my experience at this establishment. My coworker and I went through the drive through on our lunch break and all I wanted was a couple chicken tenders, not an entire meal. When I asked the employee if that was an option, she informed me that they only had a 4 piece and that was the smallest amount I could get. When we pulled around to the window, the window was still closed but we heard the women say “That’s what she wants, that’s what she’s gonna get.” With an attitude. When she opened the window and gave me my total, it was $10 and some change.. I asked to verify that was only for the chicken tenders and nothing else, not a meal. She said “Yup, it’s just the snack”. I really didn’t want to pay $10 for 4 pieces of chicken, but our lunch break was over and O did not have time to go get food from somewhere else. I then went back and looked at the menu online and found out that what I had paid for was in-fact a meal, which included fries and a drink, which I was not given. I then attempted to reach out to customer service, but of course did not receive a response. My coworker went back at a later date and was able to purchase 2 chicken strips for $4. Bojangles Chicken on Laskin Road by Captain George's restaurant Virginia Beach it's unprofessional disrespectful and unsanitary. If you have a problem with any of their dried up food that has been sitting out order a lamp oh, they expect you to bring it back in the establishment after it's been out of the building. Which is illegal are there health code violations. They touch your food with bare hands, another health code violation. Having been a manager at a five-star Ristorante I'm well aware of the violations. Upon returning some food to the restaurant tonight at their request oh, and having a tape recorder or the entire time, so I can record the manager being rude and disrespectful, and me telling him about his bare hands in the food that are returned. They blantinly refuse to redo my order or give me a refund. It wasn't until I threatened to bring to ring inspectors from the health department in and report them and shut their establishment down but they decide to go ahead and give me a refund. Despite that fact I still be calling code enforcement in the morning. I wish strongly advise against anybody even this restaurant the food is dry cold and their attitude is above and beyond dry and cold you will never get no Professional Service hear the worst of the chain of fast food restaurants I have...

I live by being kind to everyone you meet, hence the reason I was so hesitant about leaving a review because I have never given a negative review in my life. With all of that being said the owner of this restaurant really needs to revaluate their staff and management. I came to this location on 8/9/23 as well as a week prior to that. The first time I came through the drive thru & I could not hear anything on the intercom. When I told the lady I could not hear her the manager on duty immediately got on the intercom and was yelling at me while over the intercom while I was in the drive thru. Once I came to the window she very rudely told me my total and literally shoved the food into my hand. Fast forward to yesterday, same manager, I go order my food when I get to the window I don’t receive a single word from any of the employees. She stands there staring at me holding her hand out, as if she’s waiting for my payment. I go to give her my card and she shoves the food into my hand yet again. I said “I hope you have a great day” she goes “hmmmm” and proceeds to close the window on me. This is by far the worst Bojangles I have been to in my life. Which is a shame because the food is so good every time, yet management and the fellow staff ruin the experience for everyone and keeps people from wanting...
