I came to get the dress I already looked at before. I saw that today only in store and online you get a free gift with your purchase so I went to get it. As soon as I walked into the store I asked if they still have the gifts (which showed that I really cared about it) .The girl told me "Yes we do,until we run out of them". So I proceeded to browse around and tried the the dress so my husband can see it.We paid for the dress ($150),the sales person put it in bag and said "thanks, have good day". My husband and I asked where's the gift and she told us she doesn't have anymore gifts. Only one person walked in while we were shopping, got something and left .So pretty much they had ONE gift! If I had known I wouldn't even try the dress, just got it right away not to waste time.My husband and I were blown away how rude that was and decided to return the dress and buy one online (where I got free shipping and my gift). It ended up being not even about the gift anymore but us feeling fooled since we specifically asked the moment we walked in! Having recently moved from Charleston, we were excited to check out the local Lilly store, but it was a complete letdown. From the moment we walked in, we were met with a palpable lack of customer service. My wife and I, along with our two daughters, were barely acknowledged by the two women working.
The owner was particularly rude and unwelcoming. It was clear we were not a priority, and the atmosphere felt hostile and uncomfortable. What was most upsetting was the way our teenage daughters were treated. The employees made it seem as though they were being watched and treated them like potential shoplifters, which is completely unacceptable and frankly, insulting.
This was a truly negative experience, and it's safe to say we will not be returning. We will be taking our business online or to the Lilly store in Richmond, where we hope to find a much more pleasant shopping environment. Save your time and money,...

It doesn't take much to be kind to customers whether they are spending $5.00 or $5,000.00. I was made to feel like I was beneath your salespeople, and they offered no assistance whatsoever. I was almost completely ignored when I was checking out. Sad to say all of my future Lilly purchases will be online or from other locations that care about their customers. I have never shed tears over poor customer service, but today that changed.
