China Sea — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I placed an order for my husband to pickup on his way home. The lady on the phone took my order and phone number and as soon as I gave her my phone number, she hung up. No confirmation of what I had ordered or when it would be ready. First off we ordered Crab Rangoon, teriyaki chicken with chicken fried rice, 2 spring egg rolls, and Orange chicken with pork fried rice and a pork egg roll. This should have cost about $16. I knew something was jacked up as soon as my husband brought in the receipt. They had added another order of the Orange chicken with pork fried rice and a pork egg roll and French fries to the order. The Orange chicken was mush, the chicken teriyaki was fatty, the chicken in the chicken fried rice was rubbery and had no taste, the French fries were still raw in the middle, and the crab Rangoon was ok to say the best. I would definitely avoid this place if you wish for...

I love this place as my go-to Chinese takeout. I started ordering here when I used to work in the area. We became regulars and came to know the owners. I loved the food and the prices were absurdly low. I took some home about 10 years ago and my wife has insisted we order there as our go-to Chinese food restaurant for hime too even though there are about 6 other Chinese take out spots closer to our house than China Sea.

The ownership changed hands a few years back but the current owner is the previous owner's sister and the food is the same and quality is still great. My only complaint is they aren't...

Love this place! Come here so often the lady knows what I'm going to order without me saying anything. There was one time my food tasted like it was reheated but every other time I've ordered my food has been perfect. Great customer service as well (which is a huge thing for me) and you get a lot of food for a low price.

2017 Update: After getting food poisoning from what seemed like under-cooked food, I never returned. The food has become such low quality it does seem like they just re-heat old food. I was glad to hear they finally were shut down due to failing health...
