Crumbl — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

We've been to this Crumbl a few times with no issues. This time, however, I rolled up to the store at 9:50 on a Friday night to find the door locked. The store hours posted on the window says it's open until midnight on the weekends. Inside were 2 people (in the back, not in the customer area) - one with a Crumbl shirt, the other in a black dress. Neither acknowledged me, but just talked to each other and laughed, even after I tried the door a second time. Realizing I was likely being ignored, I went to leave. As I walked away they both turned and looked at me. Then I knew I was being ignored and it kind of made me glad the door was locked; I doubt I'd have received good customer service if they were willing to close more than 2 hours early and then ignore people who show up. I was so excited to try these cookies. We got the rice crispie cookie (2 of them), a Reese’s topped, and an m&m. I didn’t try the m&m. The crispie treats were not crispie - the cereal felt stale, and the amount of marshmallow to cereal ratio was too much, the “cookie” couldn’t hold its form. Overall it was far too sweet. As for Reese’s cookie, the topping (I’m guessing either peanut butter or at least peanut butter flavored icing) was good. But the cookie itself was underbaked, and heavily sweet. I couldn’t taste the cookie for the sugar. I might try another flavor, I’ll watch the weekly menus, but it’s not going to top my “places to get a treat” list when $4+ Per cookie yielded...

FIRST OFF IF I COULD GIVE THIS A NEGATIVE STAR I WOULD. THIS IS THE MOST DISGUSTING, SWEETEST, UNDERCOOKED, NASTIEST, STRAIGHT UP SUGAR FLOUR N BAKIN SODA, ONLY THING GOOD WAS THE TOPPINGS . I got a animal cookie one and the actual animal cookie they put on top was the best tasting cookie there. I LITERALLY THREW UP WITH A BITE OF THE RED VELVET . And the real cookies on the counter out in the open left for hours probably meant for “display” was not appealing… whatsoever. Worst 20$...
