Tom akers. Hi this would be the girl you asked about the figurine.. it's nice to talk with you again... ok so you didnt say figurine just stranger things. I brought the items we still had available! When you said figurine I said no we sold out of those. The shirts and everything else but the stickers...No it wasnt my first time making a sundae but yes it was the first time making what you asked for so I did my best... I would like to clear up a few things first off I'm not the manager of the place and never did I say I was. I've been working here for a month and still learning how to make stuff.. I was in the back cleaning. There was no mess in the store . We keep it very clean. Another thing what you consider a decent wage is very questionable. And your ice cream was not melting cause it took literally a quick walk around the counter to get the stickers.. There are people in this world that no matter what you do or how much you try to please them will find the negative or over exaggerate a situation cause they cocou not get a figurine we were sold out of! How could a place advertising a show be sold out of collectable merchandise you ask??? Here is a quick explanation for it! It's a very popular movie that we have been advertising for a while now and keeping collectable items in stock for any store is very impossible. I apologize for bringing you stickers instead of a bobble head. And apologize for selling out of popular stranger things memorabilia. I'm sure the managers that are making a decent wage will try harder as for this minimum wage employee I give you my promise I will try harder to live to the expected standards and would appreciate it if you would have addressed the issue 2 days ago instead of like this so we could have cleared up the issue instead of childishly posting false...
Read moreWhere do I even begin? I have been frequenting this location for quite some time now, so I think it’s safe to say that this is the WORST Dunkin Donuts in Virginia Beach, and I will not be coming back. There have been countless instances where I have waited 15-20 minutes for an order at the drive through with only one other person in front of me. The last time I came in it took them 20 minutes to heat up my sandwich because their “oven wasn’t working.” There’s ALWAYS an excuse and the owner cannot seem to tend to his store properly. When I went in, the AC was broken, the toaster ovens were broken, they served my friend her iced coffee in a hot coffee cup because they were out. They’re always out of cups and can never restock properly. They have been out of numerous menu items and cream cheese spreads. Like I said, it’s always something or they’re seemingly always out of goods to serve. Although it is close to home for me and is in a convienant location, I will not be spending any more of my hard earned money at this joke of a coffee shop. The cherry on top of it all is the customer service, or lack therof that you received. During my last visit, I kindly asked the young man working where the breakfast sandwich I had ordered was as it had been over 20 minutes. He gave me some excuse, then 10 minutes later, slammed my sandwich down on the counter without even acknowledging me. This place is such a joke! Never again. You’re better off going to Starbucks directly across the street. Edit: attempted to give this place another shot about a couple weeks ago. The employee informed me that they had ZERO coffee at the moment. I laughed while...
Read moreTook my daughter for the Stranger Things upside down sundae as this is also a Baskin Robbins. We walk in and there are no customers and two employees. The boy behind the counter didn't even greet us and the manager seemed surprised to see a customer and was evidently confused as to how to take our order. They were out of the stuff that came with the sundae she explained, but made one as if it was her first time ever. I asked specifically if they had any of the vinyl exclusive figures left and she got excited and went behind the counter while the ice cream was melting to return with stickers instead. Once I explained I asked about the figure, she said oh we've been out of those. Ok fine, why is it still advistised in the window of the store and why is it on the counter? The store was filthy considering it was devoid of customers with plenty of free time to clean. The damn show they are using to market their business comes out in two days and they aren't even prepared for their own marketing campaign for it. I understand minimum wage workers, low expectations, ect. But this is more than that, being their product isn't even supportive of their marketing campaign. This is an executive level problem and is just sad to know there is someone behind the scenes, making a decent living to be...
