Ahhh Dunkin Donuts Indian River Branch! Every time I do drive thru here, they're always out of stuff. I was even the first one there, and had to wait for 20 mins only to be told they're out of cooked eggs for the sandwich. The other lady said, they had eggs but wasn't food prepped. Then why, they couldn't even do food prep, in between times there's no customers? And my goodness, it was practically a ghost store when I arrived there. There was nobody, no customers! And they are always out of one thing or the other to put in their drinks every time I go there, too. What were those 2 ladies doing? Just sleeping in there? If they don't watch out, no one will want to come to this location anymore (because I for one wouldn't ever want to). I only come here when I'm in the area shopping at LIDL. Otherwise, I'm always at the Fairfield branch where it never happened to me that they're out of stuff like that. And I always order the same things, too. The prediction for this branch would be - They will be out of jobs soon as they will have to close. Happened to other fast foods and stores near that area! I think first and foremost, it's because of the people who works in there - no sense of pride in their jobs and be able to serve the community wholly. It's about your sense of responsibility to do so, no matter how much you're paid. Honestly, I don't want to say it - but sorry, just plain lazy too. Dunkin, please make sure you hire the right kind of people with the right mindsets and IQ in your shops - just like Chic-fil-a does. Otherwise, no one would want to go to your shops and you'll have to close most branches because you'll...
Read moreI frequent this location. Today in the drive thru, I went to the window to pick up my order. A very nice young man gave me my food and I gave him my card for payment. A few minutes later, a young lady approaches the window and asked if I received my food. I told I did and she asked if I'd paid for it. I told her I gave the young man my card and I was waiting for my receipt. She told me I hadn't paid. Then the person, I assume was the manager accused me of not paying for my food! I again told her I gave my card to the young man that gave me the food. Accused me again if not paying, very rude and pointed to several employees and asked if I paid them. Neither employee was the young man I gave my card to. I later determined that he prepared the meal, but was unauthorized to receive payment. I was again accused of not paying!! At that point, my husband stated that he was coming inside to get his card if someone didn't find it. They looked around and it was on the counter. The young lady processed my payment and apologized. The manager who had been so rude and accusatory, hid back in the corner and refused to apologize for her behavior or accusing me of not paying. It went downhill from there. We left. I will never go to this location again!! I'll be calling corporate...
Read moreNo matter who's waiting on you, they are genuinely friendly and accommodating. I'm impressed. However, the donuts are not fresh and are made in 2 parts/places.
They are made by an unknown local vendor, then shipped throughout the area. Quality control is iffy. However they are filled on location.
The products, thou made the same size and shapes, are dryer than the ones when they used to make them on right. Thus, they get really stiff and dry by 2 o'clock.
They are filled at the location. Unfortunately, there is only one set made each day. This is another reason why they get dry, stiff and not as taste. If they had 2 niches per day, they could sell more, and the products would be fresher, and better quality.
The days of smelling freshly made doughnuts, and more are over. To me, I can buy a box of Krispy Kream at the supermarket and have the same quality. What a damn shame.
I know what I'm talking about. I was groomed as a young teenager to run a Dunk N Dounuts shop for over 8 years from 1977 when i was 15 until 85. And the difference is night and day. I do mean...
