I recently had the pleasure of dining at Eddy's Cafe in Virginia Beach, and I must say, it was an experience worth sharing! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. The decor had a charming, rustic touch, with cozy seating.

So I have been a long time resident and finally went to this establishment today for breakfast. I sat at the counter and was immediately asked what I would like to drink and was served my drink quickly. I then sat and four people who came in after me recieved their drinks and thier orders were taken before I was ever approached again. The ladies behind the counter and in the restaurant were scurrying around and there was absolutely no organization to who was serving the counter. I finally had to ask one young lady if I could place my order. She took my order and disappeared. Two other gentlemen sat down and ordered. Well about 10 minutes later one of the gentleman received his supposed order and about 10 minutes after that the other gentleman received his and then the lady brought over what was supposed to be my order...well it was not my order...the other gentleman got mine and was not aware it was wrong. 1st time trying Eddy's Cafe. Ordered the creamed chipped beef w/toast $6.99. Amount received looked very small for the price. But, I felt it would be worth it if tasty. Eddy's "homemade" creamed chipped beef was tasteless with very little chipped beef in it. When I paid, the tax math didn't calculate so I asked for a receipt. I was giving a receipt with no tax calculated, just an amount punched in and charged. The person checking me out explained that 11% taxes was charged and unfortunately they don't show that on their receipts. When I did the math it still didn't add up.
