We saw this coffee shop on instagram on one of those local foodie influencers. Online the food looked spectacular along with the drinks. We drove from Richmond excited to try them out but were extremely disappointed.

First, it is a very small place, based on pictures it looked somewhat bigger. It is great for those who want to work on computers or just read a book. The inside is very clean and ascetically pleasing. Bathrooms were also very clean, which I highly appreciate. It is nice that it is in a shopping center to make parking easier.

Now we ordered a couple things since we were wanting to try it out

Capris Sandwich $11.99 Chicken sandwich $12.99 + $0.99side salad Chocolate Basque Cheesecake $5.95 A cake swirl with filling and fruit ontop (forgot the name) $7.95 Honey cake $7.25 Strawberry refresher $6.50 And mango refresher $6.50

The sandwiches were absolutely disappointing to say, they looked like sandwiches that you could make at home with some Sunbeam Bread and toppings. I expected something totally different for the price. $12.99 for a sandwich with no side is crazy and when we did decide to pay the $0.99 for the salad we were astonished at the size. It came in what seemed to be a 5oz bowl with a few pieces of lettuce, slices of cucumbers and diced cherry tomatoes. Again we have no problem paying for prices, but when price doesn’t meet quality, it’s a problem. We could have gotten a much better meal at Panera with their pick two.

The honey cake wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the best. It was very dry and it felt like it was missing something. The swirl cake was ok also, spongy and good for those who enjoy fruity cakes. Nothing special about the chocolate cake. They are pretty decent portions.

The fruit refreshers are nothing special. Tasted like a water down fizzy fruit drink.

This is one of those experiences that you try out once and never again. Now I am all about supporting local places, but when it doesn’t meet quality, it is pretty hard to support. With what we spent here, we could have gone to the Cheesecake Factory and had a much...

Operation Brew in Virginia Beach is hands down my favorite coffee shop! The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a warm , inviting atmosphere and the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The music they play is always on point, creating the perfect backdrop for everything from a casual catch-up with friends to an afternoon of focused work.

The coffee here is phenomenal. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic latte or one of their creative seasonal specialties, you’re guaranteed a delicious cup every time. I’m a huge fan of their strawberry bliss latte—it’s smooth, rich, and has perfectly balanced flavor still with a coffee taste and hints of delicious strawberry.

But the drinks are just the beginning! Operation brew also offers an impressive selection of pastries and delicious food that pair perfectly with their coffee. The strawberry croissants are always fresh and packed with flavor, and their burrata toast is the best I’ve had in the area.

What makes the experience even better is the friendly, attentive staff who consistently make you feel welcomed and valued. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee to go or settling in for a relaxing afternoon, Operation Brew is the perfect spot....

Loved our visit here! Great little, cozy coffee place with delicious food. Really like the vibe here. I saw lots of people here just working away on their laptop, while sipping coffee. Free wifi. Relaxed place.

Yummy coffee with fun seasonal specials. If it wasn't so pricey, I probably would have 2 tiramisu coffees, it really did taste like tiramisu in a cup!

We enjoyed our lunch here with fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning. Portions were just big enough, next time I might add the extra salad/chips for $1. My burrata toast was to die for, husband was also very pleased with his smoked salmon sandwich. And even my son's simple grilled cheese sandwich, was absolutely delicious. Great bread, great cheese!

Have to come back to try one of the desserts!

Although there was a small children's menu, there's only 1 high chair available and there are no changing tables in the restrooms. Had to change my baby on the bathroom floor. Luckily clean and spacious. Otherwise very attentive staff. Cut up the children's apple in extra small pieces. Honest juice and nesquick chocolate milk available as drinks for...
