Este restaurante necesita trabajar en el servicio al cliente y no ser tan grosero y irrespetuoso! The food isn't bad but what's the saying "customer service can ruin an experience" The daughter came out talking rudely about something that had nothing to do with me. I'm never going back again. If they hadn't collected my tip I would have taken it back. My family and friends are done with this place.
Also I did not try to sell or do anything except try to help the mother of the daughter who was rude understand some paperwork from a contract she had from a purchase over a YEAR ago. I literally just came in and purchased soup to go and I took time out of my day to review documents that had NOTHING to do with me in regards to purchase that took place before I even worked at the location they did business at. The daughter is UNGRATEFUL and RUDE and needs lessons in customer service and how to be respectful. You can keep your 70 dollar soup and flan. Your place is over priced for nothing. Again stay away from here they have ZERO customer service.
And if you read the other reviews the same girl with an attitude problem has other reviews regarding her so it's not me it's definitely an employee issue. Better training...
Read moreMy review is base on food taste and presentation, I bought some food to share with some friends that weren't Colombians and el PAISA, was no brain to me as the best option, but what a surprise I had. I bought empanadas and the traditional empanada wasn't there, no crunchiness at all, the were bearly cooked , more potato than meet or chicken and very expensive for what I received. Poor packaging they were given to me in paper bags, with all the suggied empanadas all together, the paper end up clustering together with them. The chorizos were good but very expensive almost 4 dollar each, if you consider that a pack of 4 cost 6 dollars at the market.
I have being to many times at the paisa, I do not not what happened with the restaurant but, wasn't close of what it used to be, the place may be good enough for not colombian people, but definitely the restaurant had lost quality and traditional flavors.
Sorry guys but, after all these years of visit and enjoy, this will be my last visit, I hope this helps and encourage you, to keep doing what you did in the past and be a great representation of colombian food at Virginia...
Read moreI am a true born and raced Colombian native; more specifically from the Atlantic coast where empanadas are part of almost every meal in the household. My children and I order 1 dozen of empanadas 1/2 beef and1/2 chicken. To our surprised, they were more potatoes empanadas instead of proper amount of meat empanadas. Not only that, but they were pricy for potatoes empanadas. When I contact the restaurant to express my dissatisfaction, the person on the phone found every single excuse to tell me that nobody has complaint before. However, coming from a household that produces empanadas for business I was livid to hear that attitude instead of them taking the initial criticism. I would greatly appreciate restaurant owners that have the great courage to venture themselves in opening a “Colombian Restaurant” to ensure they are fully knowledgeable of the gastronomic authenticity of the traditional...
