For it being my FIRST time coming to this establishment, and I went through Drive-thru, the cashier did not great me, read back my order, and had the nerve to point out that I could leave her a tip while using my apple pay. Now, I am old school, and I tip heavily when a service has been rendered or performed, but she is a cashier... she is getting paid an hourly amount to make a drink and place napkins and condiments in the bag to which the food was placed by the other male standing in front of the grill. What service did she perform on me to receive a 10% all the way up to 30% tip for a cheesesteak, fries, and a Sprite? š¤ She didn't acknowledge me as a patron, nor welcomed me to Charlie's. She did not ask me if I needed any extra napkins or any extra condiments, I had to ask for them. What makes it bad was the cheesesteak was on point, but the fries were not hot and when I asked for Cajun seasoning on them, it looked like they took the shaker and gave them a heavy dose of seasoning just on the top of the fries. There was no seasoning around them or on the fries on the bottom of the box. Now, you tell me... did she deserve a tip? If I am wrong, I'll admit it, but in this case, it's not like I got a manicure while waiting for my food or she personally came out to give me my food. I was told to wait for 4 minutes for new ones to be made, and I politely told her I did not have the time. Mind you, it is 5:37 p.m. and there is NO reason any establishment should be serving luke warm (at best) fries with seasoning not on each individual fry at this time, which is called dinner or super time! The prices were extremely overpriced, especially for the quantity of fries that you receive. I do not believe in giving my hard earned money to a woman who paid no attention to me, did not greet me, nor asked me if I needed any extra napkins or condiments. I will not tip because you are at your job and doing a horrible representation of what a cashier is supposed to do regardless of where you work. BTW, I paid $21.78 for a regular cheesesteak, fries, and a medium drink! To the manager of this establishment, if you plan on keeping this place open, you may want to retrain your cashier staff and your cook online. She is very specific because she has food allergies and preferences. She ordered a sub without cheese, due to her food allergy. Being that the restaurant is so new, I knew they would get it right. So when we got home my daughter started panicking saying cheese was on her sub. I immediately picked up the phone to call the restaurant and inform them. The guy that answered the phone had a typical teenager attitude dry sounding put me on hold and came back and asked if I had a order number. I replied no I did not and he replied well sorry mam I can not help you. I said thatās not cool, who would know their order number, I donāt have a receipt. He repeated himself and I said well ok then. He said ok. I said well I am going to write a review, he said ok again. Ok well thatās why I am giving my experience with this business 1 star. Customer service matters with the subs. Btw, before I left and even made it to my destination, I left a tip at the window in spite of not being greeted when I pulled up to it. The guy at the window just spoke my total, no greeting. I told him I am sure he was taught manners.    Read moreMy fiancé and I decided to randomly buy some boneless lemon pepper chicken wings from here since it is new to the area and we basically live on the same property. The wings were greasy as heck, but they were so juicy and flavorful that we had to try them again a few weeks later. We went through the drive-thru about 3 weeks after and we were highly disappointed. I wish I had a picture of what I received from my order.
We ordered the same thing as before but I'm guessing because it was about an hour and a half from closing, they chose to give us the scraps from their fryer. We received what looked like old, burnt batter clumps that had been scooped from the bottom of the fry basket, tossed in grease. No joke. It surely wasn't $11.00 chicken, that's for sure.
Of course, I asked to please re-do our order as we did not order "fried batter." They happily redid it which took about 15 minutes after the 20 minutes we spent at the drive-thru with only 1 car in front of us. The young lady brought it to our car, but the chicken was still lackluster and not worth $11.00. Not even worth $5.00.
They need to hire better employees/ management. Some that take pride in their jobs. I'd never feel comfortable handing a paying customer, what we received. Highly disappointed. The only thing good I can say is we might have lucked...
