O...M...G...let me first off start by saying that I had every intention of taking pictures of the food when I got it, but I opened the box and the bag and literally before I even knew it, the food was gone!
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and everything was amazing! I'm no food critic, but this is the internet, which means I must give my uncensored opinion on anything and everything, even though no one asked. Please read below for my detailed "Expert" review.
I ordered the Bianca Pizza, which is my all-time favorite pizza and it was absolutely chef's kiss. Crispy crust, perfect cheese ratio, all around delicious. 10/10
The lamb over rice had the most tender pieces of lamb I've ever eaten. The lamb was seasoned to perfection and the accompaniment of rice, sauce, tomato and lettuce made for the perfect bite. 10/10
I ordered the beef patty on a whim... but I should have ordered two! Beautiful flaky crust and a well seasoned meat filling. Next time I will try the beef patty with cheese. 10/10
Most importantly...you can't forget the dessert. Arguably one of the major food groups in the food pyramid (right next meat and dairy). They have a nice selection of desserts, and if you're a foodie with a sweet tooth, you know you have to always order something sweet. I ordered the funnel cake which was scrumptious! The funnel cake presentation was gorgeous - there were strawberries in the middle and powdered sugar sprinkled on. It was the cherry on top of the meal. 10/10
In addition to the delectable food, I also want to talk about how diversified their menu is. This is a restaurant to go to when you are amongst the pickiest of eaters! Pizza, Chicken, Burgers, Mediterranean Foods, Italian Foods, shall I go on?? They have a dish for everyone and you can even try foods you've never eaten before.
The energy is so warm and inviting and the staff is super kind and make you feel so welcomed. Overall, it's a 10/10 for me and I recommend everyone add this place to their "Restaurants to Visit"...
Read moreThe garlic breadsticks were greasy and lacking flavor ($8.99). The Pasta Bolognese with meatballs ($15.98) was a huge disappointment. The meatballs were hard and flavorless, the Bolognese sauce was too acidic and verging on bitter. The pasta with alfredo sauce was bland, it had NO FLAVOR at all and we paid extra for barely any mushrooms and for over cooked small size shrimp ($19.97). The Beignet sticks with Nutella ($5.99) were super chewy. I also ordered a Lamb Gyro and Fried Mushrooms that were pretty good. My order was over $100 and we did not get ANY cheese for the pasta (which I was told I would have to pay extra for). I ordered trough a food delivery service. The next day I contacted the restaurant and was told to contact Doordash because they get the food for cheaper and don't pay the restaurant but every 2 weeks. I insisted that I shouldn't be put in the middle and that the food was not good but the restaurant insisted that I needed to contact Doordash which I did and they only refunded a small percentage of my order that is not comparable to what I spent on those dishes and the inconvenience of not having dinner for my family. It is sad, as a local consumer, that the restaurant did not make the effort to keep a client. The person on the phone was arguing with me that they "never get complaints" on those items and questioning my judgement. I had all the items as we were unable to eat them and I even offered to take them back. Overall, I am most disappointed with the customer service. Any business can have a "bad day" and restaurants are not the exception, but how you treat your clients makes a...
Read moreWe ordered delivery through Slice. This was the first time eating anything from this restaurant. We were surprised by the poor flavors and quality of ingredients when it has so many good reviews. We ordered the 20 inch deluxe pizza, greek salad, fettuccine Alfredo and spaghetti Bolognese. The toppings on the pizza were chopped so tiny that they were indiscernible. The croutons on the salad were super stale to the point of being tough and chewy. The lettuce itself was very wilted. The fettuccine alfredo and the bolognese both tasted like someone dumped italian seasoning on them. And the bolognese was served over fettuccine and was very dry. Bolognese goes better with spaghetti than fettuccine. It seemed lazy that it was served with fettuccine because we had also ordered the Alfredo. The Bolognese was super dry and just tasted like oregano. Nobody liked that that at all. The bolognese dish and the salad both went in the trash. Although the Alfredo didn’t taste anything like Alfredo, my husband ate it. We did think Slice did a good job with the delivery. The pizza was eaten but we will not order another one from here, we like to be able to see what the toppings are. I didn’t call the restaurant to complain, we just will not order...
