This small family owned restaurant is packed full of love and service that makes you feel at home. My family and I came for dinner to celebrate my sister's 17th birthday, and the sweet woman who waited on us was just lovely. She brought my sister a free platter of fried chicken dumplings as a gift for her birthday which heartwarmingly surprised us, but it didn't end there- she then brought her a korean grape juice, which my sister loved. she also removed the charge for my drink, all just because! Her smile and her presence was so kind and warm. Aside from the wonderful service, the food was divine. My family ordered so many different things and everything was amazing- the dumpling ramen, gimbap, tteokbokki, and garlic chicken were my favorites. I tried cucumber kimchi for the first time and really liked it, and usually i'm a picky eater and don't go for things like it but I enjoyed it and was happy to try something new. All in all, one of the best dining experiences my family has had, it’s all we talked about on the way home. I was so drawn to writing a review that I created a Yelp account just to do so! We all rate Korean Seoul 5/5 stars and will definitely be back!...
Read moreThe food is AMAZING! I can definitely see this placing outpacing BonChon on quality, quantity, and price!
I ordered 20 wings with an order of bulgogi kimbap, and it only cost me $39.01! The wings are huge. They added six small side dishes too!!! So, all I had to make at home was the rice, which was the plan anyway.
My first complaint. The owner, I think, looked at me, and before I could order stated “the hot one is too hot for you!”
I laughed, and said excuse me. Who are you to tell me what’s too hot? I love all Asian food, and I’ve ordered many a hot items from hole in the wall Thai restaurants both in the U.S. and overseas. I was raised in the south, I have maybe 15 different types of authentic variety hot sauces in my cupboard. TBH, she made me mad.
Two, there is a small speaker right at the counter. I had to yell to get my order in. It was weirdly loud. I goto many concerts, and I prefer the pit. But, this is a restaurant. I don’t want to shout to order food or talk with friends over dinner. The restaurant is way too small for all that noise. Glad I got it to go!
Other than that, I was pleased. Also, the hot is 🥵, and...
Read moreI read the reviews and decided to try this place out for dinner this evening. I ordered the chicken teriyaki dinner. Rice was cooked horrible and could taste the starch and seemed to have sat forever. The chicken did. Not taste like teriyaki at all and did not look anything like the picture. It was more of a soup! I asked for only broccoli and carrots as the only vegetables and they gave me cold broccoli and carrots had to warm up in my microwave. Along with tons of kimchi and onions/pepper and bean sprout in the teriyaki chicken when I said no vegetables…. The place was empty when I arrived and the lady came from the back and I started to order after looking at the menu and as I was talking I noticed she was still playing on her phone and. Not paying attention. So I stopped and waited for her to acknowledge I was ordering I waited for 3 minutes for to recognize I’m staring at her waiting for her to do her job and stop playing a game on her phone! Horrible experience way overrated and expensive for the poor quality, will never get my...
