Enjoy Cheesecakes and Treats, LLC — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I have a special place in my heart & tummy for cheesecake so of course we had to try Splurge Cheesecakes, 401 N. Greatneck Rd, VB! The place is sparkling clean, the display cases are bright and open. They have individual cheesecakes (see my photo) that are on display as well as cupcakes, cookies and dessert bars that are ginormous! The owners, just Cheryl and Jamie, run it by themselves and they do it extemely well. They always greet you with a smile and if you've been there before, they'll remember you with a "welcome back" or "how ya doin?" They are very welcoming, friendly and down to earth, and love to get to know their customers. Now, the cheesecakes are To. Die. For. I promise! They have a different menu weekly for everyone to enjoy that starts on Wednesday and runs through Sundays. They do keep some regular flavors like Classic, Espresso or maybe Key Lime. But then they have their "exquisite" flavors as I like to call them. Like Dubai Chocolate, Cookie Butter, Fried Ice Cream, Million Dollar Bar, White Chocolate Macadamia, S'Mores, Ferrero Rocher and so many more. The cupcakes are so moist and the flavors, like Red Velvet, Oreo, Orange Cream change weekly as well as the cookies like Lemon Crisp, Chocolate Chip, Cookie Butter, or Oatmeal, and the ginormous dessert bars are over the top! I was so impressed from the first call to the first bite this bakery blew it out of the water! I can’t say enough good things about here. I found it through the Hampton Roads page for local restaurants and I wish I would have found them sooner! My oldest wanted to have a unique flavour cheesecake and of course didn’t tell me this until right before their birthday! So the hunt was on and when I called the bakery in a panic knowing it was a busy weekend Splurge Cheesecakes put me at ease right away! He was so sweet and could probably tell I was in a panic but he got it all in and on the date I needed! When I went to do pickup we spoke again and he was just as sweet as the first time and wished me luck on paint balling with them lol. After a day of fun we got home to do cake and gifts and when I tell you that cake went faster than a blink of an eye with everyone complimenting it I knew I found a gem! I cannot say enough nice things about the owners, and their desserts. As a first time customer, I will always return here. I was searching for a bakery to do my daughter’s 5th year birthday cake. It was an odd request as the party was Ozzy Osbourne cake. I told them she wanted a red velvet cake with black frosting. They walked me through everything I needed to know about the black frosting, and they were very informative. When I came to pick it up, they completely surprised me by putting Ozzy Osbourne on the cake itself…. I wanted to cry I was so happy!

The cake and cupcakes we ordered were absolutely outstanding. It was amazing being able to rant and rave about a local place owned and ran by a wonderful couple.
