Man I used to travel to NYC to get my Jollibee fix. Well it wasnt the only reason, but now I have Jollibee in my home town. Be careful if you are in a time crunch, do not come here. I REPEAT, DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY. Let me tell you why, first of all. The food is made so delicately that it takes a few extra minutes longer than your traditional fast food fried chicken joint. And not to generalize, but the place is packed with Filipinos during their peak times. For some people, it may feel like a piece of the homeland again. This will provide longer queue times on your order. BUT DONT LET ME DISCOURAGE YOU. I've provided to pictures with my review; A classic two piece combo w/side and a Crispy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe all a cup of pineapple juice. First, let's describe the juice. It is the perfect, refreshing, soothing beverage to get, AND it's not too tart. Second, The two piece combo is the perfect thing to get here EVERYTIME. You can never go wrong with it; They provide gravy for your chicken, which I need to describe has a higher quality way to eat this comfort food. On to the chicken, it is the crispy-ist thing you will crunch on, as well as being the juiciest thing you'll eat that day. That bite is equivalent to "heaven on earth" and "I have to add subtitles to the TV, cause I'm crunching too loud." Lastly, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe. On the outside, it looks like a regular chicken sandwich from your regular drive-thru restaurants, and if you put this on the same level as these average day chicken sandwiches........ you're dead wrong. This glorious sandwich consist of a fried patty, lettuce, tomato, sauced with a garlic aioli, and finished with a brioche bun. This sandwich has literally brought me to tears, tears of joy (its that good!). To close my review, Jollibee is a Filipino take on the Fast Food Fried Chicken chain. These hard workers take much pride in their craft and go the extra mile to make sure I am satisfied. Often times you are surrounded by Filipinos who simply want the same thing as anyone who enters: good food. I've stated that you should not eat here when in a hurry, and the reason is that you NEED to savor your meal. This food is best with company, but even dining alone you'll truly discover an...

Read moreOur first time trying this establishment. The resturant was clean, large and colorful. The tables were large and roomy with comfortable seating. The bathrooms appeared to be clean. The staff were very sweet however the cashier we believe must have been new because he was not familiar or informative of the menu. I repeatedly stated it was our first time there and you would think he would have been more helpful but no. Another young woman had to come over and answer our questions regarding the menu items. I ordered the TLC Yumburger (tomato, lettuce and cheese) with no lettuce and fries. The burger had heavy mayo which I had to wipe off mostly with a napkin and two very thick tomatoes which were too much. They do not use onions which was disappointing it's not a burger without onions. The burger tasted like meatloaf and it left an after taste. The burger was very dry not juicy and not hot but why would it be with all that mayo and tomatoes it just cooled down the meat... duh! My boyfriend ordered the Palabok Solo made up of bichon noodles and their "famous" sauce with what tasted like chopped hamburger, a biles egg and shrimp. It was cool and yuck tasting but mostly the appearance was not appealing. You can judge from the picture attached what does it remind you of? Yuck! So it was returned and he ordered another TLC Yumburger and fries and again the same reaction as to my burger. The fries were good no big difference with any other fast food resturant. The fries were hot and came in an abundance. I read up on this establishment it's a fast food chain from the Philippines and have over 1500 locations throughout the world. They also carry chicken, spaghetti and a variety of breakfast items. We were not impressed by the food and instead of wanting more it's unfortunate we desired no more. The Yumburger was the...
