As a first time visit, it proved to be my last. Ordered a caprese salad. Tomatoes were not ripe, but the flavor was doable when I saw what I thought was a speck of black pepper begin to walk along the top of my mozzarella cheese. There was some sort of bug with wings like a flying ant on my food. I waited 5 minutes for our server to come and showed her when I showed her the now dead bug. She took the plate away and I waited for the manager, someone, ANYONE, to come over and apologize for this mishap. Nobody came. It was not even acknowledged. After the incident, it was very hard to not scrutinize our meals for fear of a repeat incident. We couldn't even finish our meals. When the check came, the caprese salad was still included. I waited what seemed like another 5 minutes to have the server come over and mentioned it to her. She quickly responded that she spoke to her manager, and she didn't know why she didn't DISCOUNT the salad, but that we had eaten a good portion of it. FIRST OF ALL, there's an INSECT on my food that YOUR establishment served me. You don't come to apologize, you don't acknowledge it, you don't try to rectify the situation, you don't make it right AND you have the audacity to tell me that since it was mostly eaten, in your poor perceptive opinion, that it should only be discounted! She takes the bill away, and comes back quickly laying it on the table with her attitude and walks away with nothing much to say. I'm APPAULED and highly dissatisfied with the level of customer care. The manager NEVER made and appearance, the server had an attitude, nothing was done to make the customer, who purchased two meals in addition to that salad, feel like that was an offense worthy of addressing. I will NEVER come back AND I will let my family, friends, coworkers, and clients know of the worst experience I've encountered yet in this area. Save your time and your money and go somewhere where you'll be more valued...cuz it's...

Went in yesterday to get a pizza for my husband and me. Have been there before with friends to eat their Italian food. They are a wonderful place to eat Italian fare. The food is always excellent šŸ‘Œ. Their homemade breads to die for, So, as I said, have never gotten their pizza, so as I walked in the entrance for pizza, I noticed that the place smelled amazing. Young workers were behind a long glassed in work space. I noticed at least 8 pizza ovens running, with pizzas in most, and this was right after they opened their doors for business. A nice array of different pizzas were on display to get a slice at a time šŸ˜‹ The team of employees were busy rolling out dough, spreading the sauce, adding the toppings, and the aroma, just wonderful. Lots of pizzas coming out of the ovens, being boxed up for pickup. People walking in for a slice and beverage, sitting their enjoying the many different kinds of pizzas and canzones, OMG! They looked like a šŸ–¼ļø perfect delight. My order was ready for pickup, the aroma was killing me in the car on the way home. I wanted a piece right now šŸ˜‚. Got home and enjoyed a wonderful slice of heaven. We ordered the Primo full of sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, black olives, just a fantastic taste. Will go back again real soon. Oh! Lots of pre ordered pick ups. That's the way to go. But glad I got the experience of seeing how our pizza was prepared. So, if you want a really good pizza, please give them a try. You won't be...

Where to start. Disappointing to say the least. This use to be my favorite place to go. But was able to tell that they changed owners . The original staff most of them are gone and the service and food has changed not for the better either .Waited over an hour for my our food . We ordered fettuccine Alfredo which was awful, the amount of Parmesan added was ridiculous and killed whatever flavor it might have had . Also ordered the pepperoni roll terrible as well and a slice of pizza which was cold to boot . Our waitress when we did see her just made excuses for the kitchen being slow and never acknowledged the fact that my family and I hardly touch our food or the fact that I asked for the check 10 minutes after she brought out our food. She was to busy clearing our table to even ask or notice we hardly touched our dinners . My advice to the new owners is go back to the old ways and to call the previous owners and get some advice . I spoke to the manager who honestly did not seem to care that they lost my family’s business. This is the last time you will get my hard earned money. This was at the 2277 Upton Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23454 location my apologies if I placed this on your page by mistake, I will be visiting your other restaurant in the future in hopes that I haven’t lost my favorite...

First things first & this was our first time. There were two entrances to this place that aren’t well marked. One is for seating and the other is for ordering to go. We accidentally went to the the to-go area but they were friendly and sent us to the right spot to dine in. Dining in was great. Our waitress was awesome and there were people helping us who were not our designated waitress. They got us extra water and took our dirty plates away. I say the service is the best part of this place! It was superb! The pizza we ordered was a large meat lovers. We should have ordered the medium but now we have leftovers. The pizza had lots of toppings and was tasty. We got the garlic knots. They were tasty but in my preference a little hard on the outside. The inside of the rolls were good. Overall, 4/5 for this place! It’s a good spot and prices are decent.

Sorry, I already took a bite off the crust on those slices. As you can see, the rest was still pretty hot.

We have been faithful customers of this Primo fir years! In fact, we used to get ā€œY_ _ _ā€ all the time but once we found Primo’s we were hooked. We haven’t been ordering as frequently because like everyone else, we’re cutting back on expenses but still want to support locally owned businesses. Tonight, I was highly disappointed! Ordered a large Caesar salad without croutons and three meatballs. Wasn’t given amount when I phoned in order but no big deal. Total was $25 and some change. Even added tip. Got home and opened salad - it was the most pitiful salad I have ever seen. So that is when reality hit that I paid $25 for a tiny salad and three meatballs. Such a shame restaurants are skimping on what made them successful and providing poor quality and quantity. Doubt we’ll go back.
