Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Terrible service,

I saw this place had good reviews and was close so I called in to make an order, they had a deal for one large 2 topping pizza with breadsticks for 17$. I ordered a thin crust 2 topping with the breadsticks, and the man asked what car I would be driving for takeout, and told him and he said it would be a 10 minute wait. Great, I drove down and waited in the parking lot, at the time there was only one other customer there. I wait for about 15 minutes and go to the door to ask when it's coming. The lady asks me my name and order and goes back inside, she comes back out and says they don't have my order on record, and I have to order again. Alright so again I order the large 2 topping with breadsticks thin crust with mushrooms and olives, after I finish ordering someone else pulls up and she goes to take there order, she waves down another employee and says she forgot what toppings I wanted and that this guy will take it. I tell him the toppings and he goes inside. 20 minutes later and she brings me my pizza, it was not thin crust but i don't care at this point, she charges me 16$ for the pizza, I ask where my breadsticks are and she says shell go get them, she comes back out and says the guy who took my order forgot to put them in, and instead of offering to get me them on the house or even the original price I ordered of 17$ for pizza and breadsticks, I paid 16$ just for the pizza and she says if I want breadsticks it'll be another 6$, I left after that, pizza was good, would have been better if it was thin crust like I ordered, but the service was among the worst I've had, I would not recommend going there...

I just want to say I very rarely leave good reviews lets alone a full 5 stars as there is usually always something wrong with anywhere I go, and it's not a hard job.

I just want to say how incredibly impressed I am! My pizza and wings were hot and delicious an all my sauces were there! Which is rare now and days for EVERYTHING to be perfect. Now for our delivery drivers. (Yes drivers). We accidentally placed 2 of the same orders our first driver was very polite and on time. Our second driver I would like to appologize for not giving you a tip for at least showing up and being so polite and understanding to the mistake. If you come back to our address we will absolutely add a extra few bucks. I won't forget you. This is by far one of the best deliveries I have had in a LONG TIME!

Again I am impressed! I usually always choose Domino's for various reasons mainly I used to work there so I know the run around of their foods and I love their garlic crust and dipping sauce, BUT I was so impressed tonight by not just the food but the wonderful service I think we will be ordering Marco's more often for pizza nights which is at least once a week. They don't pay attention to detail. I call EVERY week to order and specifically ask for GARLIC crust. They have only given it to me 2x every other time they refuse to put it on my crust. I've called back so many times and received credits. Im don't order for credits I order because me and my children are hungry. So tonight I ordered 2 large before class and specifically called called the store right after I ordered online and told them PLEASE make sure they put GARLIC on my crust.
