Wow! Milton’s Bay Cafe is hands down the best hidden gem in Virginia Beach. This cozy spot serves up the most incredible American-Greek inspired cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything from the warm hospitality to the outstanding food makes this place a must-visit!

The Greek omelet? Absolute fire. Packed with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor! The BLT sandwich? Perfection. Crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes on perfectly toasted bread. And don’t even get me started on the Nutella crepes—filled with strawberries and topped with fluffy whipped cream, they’re simply heavenly!

If you’re a soup lover, the homemade chicken soup is a game-changer—cooked to absolute perfection with rich, comforting flavors. Every dish here is made with love and attention to detail.

To top it all off, the service is impeccable—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. It’s clear that this place takes pride in everything they do. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and check out Milton’s Bay Cafe. You won’t regret it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you, Milton’s Bay Cafe, for an...

I’ll just warn you now, unless you really like celery, don’t get the Chesapeake Bloody Mary. I know celery is a main ingredient in bloody Mary’s in general, but you couldn’t really taste the crab meat because the celery flavor was so overpowering. I know, not everyone can taste celery the same (some say it’s flavorless, but I’m definitely not one of those people haha.). Anywho, for $12, I expected a more enjoyable cocktail than that, but if you try everything once, you’re bound to eventually get burned. Also, being mistaken for tourists is mildly offensive, but forgivable. The staff is very nice and attentive. The owner stopped by our table and joked around with us for a little bit. That was nice. Crab cake benedict wasn’t terrible, but definitely not the best on the bay; the seared tuna was also a bit dry. Otherwise, we enjoyed our experience and will return again to try out some more dishes. I’ll update this review when we give it another go. That CBM was just so completely off-putting that I need to get the flavor out of my...

Let me start by saying the food was amazing and if that’s what you’re looking for then this is a great place - 5 stars for food! HOWEVER I am appalled by the lack of caution the employees are taking in the midst of a pandemic. All but one waitress were NOT wearing a mask. Everyone else was running food, cooking food, and taking orders without masks on. I also had the displeasure of sitting near the kitchen where I could watch the cooks make the food with no masks OR gloves on. Our waitress was nice and the only one wearing her mask, when I asked about their policy she said they are all required to and she wasn’t sure why the others weren’t. She mentioned something and the other waitress was just non stop complaining for the remainder of the time we were there. Good food, nice waitress, toxic ambiance, and horrible implementation of covid policies. Even the owner was cooking and running food without a mask and gloves, not a good look. If ya like good breakfast with a side of covid19 then you’ll...

Stopped here for a bite after work, Amy served us, the experience was very very nice. I had the French toast with Nutella and strawberry’s with eggs, sausage and potato’s . Had a whisky sour with lemonade . The food was great, the service was excellent. She was super attentive , efficient , and just overall a great experience . My friend got a Philly cheesesteaks sandwich and enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend this little spot for brunch/ lunch

The ambiance is downright homey, cozy, like what a neighborhood cafe should be - the owner sitting at the bar sharing pleasantries with customers. Service was quick and friendly. It wasn’t on the menu but my friend got creative and asked if we can get lobster omelette. The waitress even said they can add avocado slices as well! The lobster omelette was delicious, generous chunks of lobster meat, very fresh avocados in the omelette.
