Starbucks — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

A rare 5 star for the coffee giant chain. I have certainly backed off being a frequent customer, but I still enjoy them. Especially on my birthday when they provide a drink for FREE. This was my first time at this store.

This is a newer location off First Colonial in a new strip adjacent to Target. Parking was easy, no debris and the walk up tidy. There is also drive up service. Signage is excellent.

The new Starbucks store layouts are super attractive and sleek. Lots of comfortable seating and natural light. The store was spic and span. My visit was on a weekday afternoon and it was decently busy.

Counter at the service was nice and the staff wished me a happy birthday when presenting my reward. I ordered a lemon cake, chocolate chip cookie and a venti Carmel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino with extra shot. I utilized the app for my purchase.

My order took a bit longer than expected due to the drive thru being slammed. All good as it arrived within 10 minutes and was correct. Everything was yum, especially my Frappuccino which can be on and off on prep.

Prior to leaving I utilized the restroom. They offer two gender neutrals, an employee was exiting after just having cleaned it. The facilities were sparking clean with proper supplies. When exiting the same staff was emptying trash. This activity elevated my review to a 5.

Stopped in with my daughter again, and this place never disappoints. This location does seem to have its fair share of equipment breakdowns, but the baristas are always happy to make an alternate coffee suggestion. Today the woman at the counter was very friendly, and when my daughter apologetically mentioned she had forgotten to ask for a dairy substitute but that she would drink her frappucino with milk since the barista had already started making it, the woman immediately discarded and proceeded to make it from scratch with soy milk, saying she would not give my daughter coffee that would cause her discomfort. I have and would continue to come back to...

This was my first time going into this location on first colonial across the street from the Walmart. I went in because the line was long which was my mistake because they focus on the line first the drive-thru. I placed my order and it must have taken about 20-25 minutes to get my drink. The store is really clean and orderly the staff is extremely efficient. I just wish they had two people to focus on the customers inside the store. Consistently rather than all of them focusing on...
