Be careful and keep your belongings close because some employees have sticky fingers (the bartender working after 12am on Sunday night). Its my 25th birthday and I am visiting family. I didn't even want to come here because it was a ghost town. After walking around we decided to go back and give them some business. I know for a fact that I walked in and I had all my things. There were three people in the entire place and we were the only ones at the bar. I ordered a drink and laid my belongings on the counter ($50 value). I left it behind on the bar for 2 minutes. My brother and fiance said they were 100% sure they saw it on the counter (plus we all had ONE drink). It was laying there. Then, a second later when I went to ask if they had seen it, the bartender said "no" suspiciously and abruptly and avoided me the rest of the night. One employee said on the way out that people were fiends when I never insinuated it was stolen. Some of the other employees really helped and looked for it and said they would keep and eye out. This is a lesson for me and if I had any doubt, I wouldn't bother posting this review. So, to the bartender/employee, thanks for ruining my night. Because I know you saw my vape and I talked to the customers that ordered after us and they didn't see it. I confronted asked them if they had it and they were so kind. I have a 7 year old kid that can lie to my face better than you did. I tried to defend you and my brother told me that there was no mistaking that fact that you stole from me. On my birthday, and at a bar with my peers. I hate that I can't even go to a gay bar as a gay woman and feel safe. But thats life. But I hope the nice employee/manager that used his flashlight to helped me look has an amazing week. I appreciate you so much, but it was someone's pocket. They can step on a Lego for stealing. I was wondering why I got a free drink, but it was probably to make up for the thievery. This is my 3rd bad review I've ever posted. Congratulations. Playing pool was fun. I didn't see you take it with my own eyes, so I'll say this. Next time, maybe help the customer that lost something or just do the right thing and give it back. If I didn't come back for it, fair game. But I did, and you should've done the right thing. I wouldve tipped SO well if you did. We all learned something tonight and you got some free shit. Happy...

I came to the cactus on Mother’s Day to get me and my mother-in-law some food. When I got there on the website and Instagram, it says that they open at 5 o’clock. I came to the cactus around 445 to get there a little early. the cactus did not open until six-ish, when I got there, it was a guy who was standing outside with the rainbow cactus shirt so he was an employee. He apologized about them late and says sometimes they run about 10 minutes late. I was smoking a joint in my car and he walked beside me. We had a whole conversation. I asked him can I smoke in there and lifted it up to him he said yes there’s a outside part where there are flowers I said OK thank you I go inside. I order my food. I asked him if I could get a discount because I have been here since 5 o’clock yet and end up opening till after six he lied and told me that they were open at five , I told him no you wasn’t I’ve been outside. What was your employees for an hour? I go outside joint a guy screaming at me to the top of his lungs that I have to get out that what I’m doing is illegal. I proceeded over the fence and tell him that his employee said that and I asked him he said he don’t care what his employee said. I’m breaking the law I need to get out , my drink on the bar about my food and I’m telling him over and over I went to Dunn if I didn’t get permission, I asked he screaming at me going back-and-forth still telling me he don’t care what I’m doing is illegal and I need to leave, sir. Can you ask them if I can , they are unprofessional rude they’re ugly inside and out. I sat here and waited an hour for this food for not to be not compensated and to to be screamed and yelled at like I’m a child when I asked and got permission and the reason why I asked is because I like clarification That I’ve been there before and they were smoking on the patio place. I was the first customer in there. I was the only black girl in there. They did not like that. He screamed at me and went back-and-forth with me like I literally smoked inside I was outside and I asked permission , this guy Sucks. Im sending Rhoda Young here. I haven't been to this place in a few months (around mardi gras) but I just want to make this review as a forewarning to any black person going here, this establishment has institutionalized racism. There is a security gaurd there that kept messing with me throuhout the night. I had my foot up on the stage holding onto the railing dancing (NOT ON THE STAGE, I know patrons are not supposed to get on it, it's mainly for the drag queens), he told me to get down. I obliged & kept dancing. Since I didn't give him the reaction he wanted he took it a step further. I starting dancing in these dangling decorations (mardi gras theme that's how I vaguely remember the date) from the ceiling, I'll admit I could of ripped them down by accident but I was being carful but at the same time just having fun. If the security gaurd cared at all about the decorations he would of just told me to stop & I would of listened like before, but no, THIS RACIST SECURITY GAURD PUSHED ME & told me to "go over there" pointing more to the center of the dance floor. Why would he push me? He could of knocked me over & made me rip down the decorations which would of defeated the purpose of him stopping me from dancing in said decorations. He wanted to get a reaction out of me so he could ruff me up, kick me out, ban me from coming back & maybe even call the police on me. If i was sober I would of called the police because I was assaulted, but I was drunk & I knew a drunk BLACK man's arguement against a white man at work's arguement would be futile when dealing with police. I saw exactly what was going on & at that point my night was ruined, I just kinda stood by the bar with my friend & we left soon after. I guess the racist security gaurd suceeded in ruining my night so I guess that's a small win for racists everywhere👍🏻? Yipee🤷🏾‍♂️? I haven't been back since. I just got my bartending license & I want to bartend at a gay club/bar in the area but Rainbow Cactus, I avoid like the plague because if I got treated that poorly as a patron, IMAGINE IF I WORKED THERE.
