I had a fine experience until today. It's very frustrating to pay over a hundred dollars a month for one of the smallest units and have the light turn off every few minutes. You have to go out to the hall and walk down to the sensor and wave your arms to get it to turn on. Frustrating but not the reason for the one star review. Today when trying to remove things from our unit the light of course turned off while my husband was in mid move of our belongings. I went to the hallway to turn the light on but in the mean time a glass object feel and shattered and he cut himself. Frustrating but logically not the storage units direct fault. What is public's fault is how they handled my request to extend the timer. The customer service rep look annoyed the moment I entered the office. I asked if they could have someone extend the timer on the lights near my unit. She said they couldn't. I said that doesn't make sense of the lights are on a timer surely the timer can be adjusted (I have used many storage units before and the lights near my Unit truly are on a short timer). I explained to her the shortness of the timer can lead to dangerous situations. (I'm not a ridiculous person I know you are responsible for the state of your unit but it is in the nature of storage units to have boxes and such stacked high which can lead to dangerous situations if you have to exit your exit without being able to see in order to wave down the light). Read moreHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Do NOT rent here!!! - Original rent amount with insurance was $102 for a 5x10. Then they hiked it to $142. (I received the letter in the mail a week before the payment was due but the date on the letter was the 30 days.) A few weeks into renting, my fiancé stopped by after hours because he saw the door jacked open. (His gym is on the other side of the building.) You can see the date and time stamped on the picture. I called the next day and the lady said she would check her cameras. That was it. He checked several other times and this has continued to happen. The security code and box is pointless with this happening! We were on a higher floor in the back, but be aware that if you’re on the first floor, someone is smoking after hours so don’t store furniture or clothes there. Lastly, do not make my mistake and vacate on the 3rd of the month because they still charge you for the ENTIRE month, even after they verify that you vacated!!! They are not friendly but they don’t necessarily cross the line of unprofessional, but they do not make you feel like they care at all. There are no apologies, and there are no resolutions. It is what it is here and I would NEVER recommend them...

i have only used a storage facility once in my younger life...when i relocated to marry and that was over 30 years ago...that was a horrible experience! the marriage, not the storage! LOL
i was greeted by a very nice young person, Candice. So extremely helpful, understanding, caring, and conversant! Originally, i wasn't sure what i needed to do and she was so reasonable and flexible. Gave me the chance to re-evaluate. I was so impressed, that i eventually returned just because of her. i upgraded to a larger space and i really think WE made the best decision to suit my needs. i am so grateful for her help.
the space was clean, safe, well light - and near to both my temporary home and new employer - i couldn't be more pleased.
