My husband has been going to this particular location every morning, for years now. The other day he had an encounter with one of the new cashiers, she was assuming that he was stealing. Even though, he had already purchased a sizzli and coffee, like he does every morning, he grabbed another sizzli because I had messaged him to, as I was in the car. He explained this to the cashier that I was in the car and asked for one and after he filled his coffee, he was gonna go back up and pay for the other sandwich, as he has the money out already in his hand. My husband knows all of the managers and employees there, so he definitely wouldn't steal anything, especially since he's in there everyday. Not only did she assume he was a thief, she lied and said he threatened her. A grown man threatening a young girl?! She said he told her to come out to his car.. What sense does that even make? Mind you, he's a black man and she's a young white girl. My husband is not a violent man nor would he ever put hands on a female, let alone a young girl over a misunderstanding. He was told several days later that he is nit allowed back in and that there was a witness to the incident too, which is impossible because the girl was never threatened to begin with. This is a prime example of racism by this new employee, who obviously felt threatened by him being black, not because he literally threatened her. Again, he has been coming to this same location every morning for years now and is polite to all employees and they know him. If he was such a thief or so violent, why would he just now all of a sudden be asked to never come back? The manager did what he had to do to protect his employees but maybe the managers shouldn't hire racist little girls, who will literally lie because of...
Read moreIt was the worst experience I've ever had at a Wawa's when I walked in this evening; yes it's a holiday but management should have scheduled for extra employees or Associates to monitor the bathrooms. I walked in not only did the auger that permeated wanted to make me sick, the floor was covered with filthy dirty urine toilet paper everywhere, the feminine trash cans were completely overflowing, the toilets not to mention we're some of the worst I've ever seen completely filthy dirty long hair even coming out of the toilet and one toilet alone had feces that was so disgusting I couldn't even with everything compiled even use the bathroom. I have been driving as a Lyft driver all day to keep lives safe and yes drinking water to stay hydrated and I walked into a Wawa's only to see and smell the disgusting area in the restroom!!! While looking at the we guarantee, we promise to have a clean bathroom yourself what part of Promise did you fail on all of it!!! And then even though I refused to use it, it was really sad when a woman would let her little girl use those toilets in that such bad shape. Wawa's I'm sorry, that you have failed. I stopped at this Wawa every two weeks on the way to my customers home. Because there's a five stars I wouldn't even give you one star it was THAT disgusting!! When I brought the manager's attention to it on duty this evening she goes well I just got here that's no excuse. I couldn't provide a picture because it was such a foul odor that I had to turn around and walk out, because I was suffering with...
Read moreThere’s a younger employee there who makes drinks, she is currently working right now 10:30am Wednesday Oct 21st. I order from here almost daily and have never had any trouble until she started making my drinks. I order an iced chai tea every time and this is now the 3rd time she has made me an iced coffee with chocolate... there is clearly some kind of confusion on her end on how to make this drink however... the biggest issue is her attitude. I very politely have to ask to have the correct drink made every time and, understand they are busy and deal with a lot but, the last time when I showed her that it was coffee (you can clearly see and smell the difference) she got extremely defensive and nasty towards both me and another employee who ended up making me the drink instead.
I think she just needs some additional training or help learning the difference between chai tea and whatever kind of coffee she keeps confusing it with... and maybe a little bit of...
