I’m so tired of tipping for service when employees couldn’t care less about their patrons and true customer service. I’d consider myself someone with manners, and all too commonly now I find myself the one with a smile and asking how “thier” day is rather than responding to how mine is? Furthermore, my inquiry is usually met with silence and a “get on with your order mentality”. Anywho, while grabbing a quick bite at Dulles, we ordered, paid and left a tip before sitting to eat quickly. I wanted to get a new box to take what we could on the plane so we wouldn’t make a mess, but I couldn’t find a trash anywhere inside. I neatly set my box to the side of the counter and wiped all my crumbs from the table when I heard MAM, MAM, MAM shouted toward my back from the employee telling me to take my trash outside to the concourse trash can. You know, it’s no issue, I wanted to throw out my trash, it’s just the rudeness, lack of awareness and scolding here that kind of gets me. As someone who worked at a pizzeria as one of my first jobs, I really took pride in ensuring my customers had a good experience. I suppose this is what sets some of us apart and why some of us get ahead, treating each other kindly and with respect goes a long long way and the endless tipping prompts for unworthy employees only to be treated like a minion is over for me.

I am writing to formally address an unsatisfactory experience I had at your establishment on August 23, 2025, at approximately 2:00 PM. While placing my order, I approached the counter and politely greeted the staff member, inquiring about placing an order for a pizza. Unfortunately, the response I received was unprofessional and discourteous. The staff member, who identified himself as Reza (though I am uncertain of the accuracy of this name), appeared visibly upset and responded in a raised voice, stating that the manager instructed to only select items from the menu. When I politely asked for his name, he provided it but continued to display an unprofessional demeanor. I am deeply disappointed by this interaction, as it significantly detracted from my experience at your establishment. Customer service is a critical aspect of any business, and I found this encounter to be far below the expected standard. For your reference, I have a photo of the staff member, should further verification be needed. I kindly request Thank you for your attention to this matter.

As we were running through the airport to catch our next flight, the girl running with me says she really wanted &pizza and that it was almost worth missing her flight for it. So if course I’ve been looking forward to my 3 1/2 hour lay over so I can get pizza! It’s a build your own pizza place. I decided on The Maverick with spicy tomato sauce. It’s a meat lovers pizza and they sure puke it on. I did both fresh & shredded cheese, added mushrooms and grilled onions. At the end I added Parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper, arugula and fig balsamic sauce. It was delicious! They have several mason jar teas. I’m not a fan of sweet tea so I grabbed a lemongrass peach unsweetened tea. It was just ok Hubby got a create your own pizza and loaded up the meats, jalapeños and cheese. Highly recommend this place if time allows. C concourse gate C28. Enjoy!

Honestly the worst experience in this airport, first of all we were only 4 clients and it took 25 min, the pizzas were okay BUT in fact we meet those ladies who work there, the first two ones were pretty nice but there was this lady called Salma, the male customer just in front of me told her in a ironically tone “hello, thank you, a smile?” and then left apparently i wasn’t the only one who was shook by her behavior, the card machine was not working so i asked her “do you take euros?” and she told me yes with this boring attitude and THEN when i had to pay she told me “i don’t take euros”?? So THEN i wanted to pay in card since i didn’t have any dollars and because 5 min before she said that the problem was resolved yelled “didn’t you heard when i said that the machine was not working??” like HELLO you can just talk nicely so I APPOLOGIZED (as i was the one with an attitude lol) and then when i had to take my orders she was so mean, disrespectful and not POLITE AT ALL ! Then i started to get angry (which is 100% normal) a guy came (the one who works at the left of the restaurant) and I told him that it was okay it can happened and that I totally get it but i said and i quote “the problem here is her attitude not even a smile not even a hello not even a thank you? that’s my problem here” he apologized for her, she heard EVERYTHING that i just said and had this little smile on her face and rolled her eyes? I totally get that you can be tired of working BUT also working with customers means being polite since it is a 50% representation of the brand. Would never recommend or go again....

The absolute worst &pizza I have ever been to. I am a frequent &pizza customer going to locations in DC, Laurel, Baltimore, Philly n NY. This location in the Dulles airport is the ONLY location to skimp me n my wife on toppings. The first thing I noticed was different is they didn’t stretch out the dough before adding the sauce which every other &pizza I have ever been to does. Second they didn’t have a lot of the toppings every location has: no mozzarella balls, no pickled onions. When it came to toppings like bacon my wife always asks for a second sprinkle and I Italian sausage. Not only did they not do that but they counted how many Italian sausages I was allotted. While it would have been irritating allowing me to pay for the extra I wanted would have been fine. Now going to multiple &pizza across the various states I stated earlier allowed extra toppings without issue makes this one not only the exception the wrong one one to go to. In addition to top it off ALL of the employees had a bad attitude. It was icing on the cake to a super bad experience. I love &pizza and constantly tell ppl to go there as it is the best pizza around BUT I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO TRY THE &pizza IN DULLES AIRPORT. Ur better off going to McDonald’s...
